Set on three levels, the park covers some 13 acreswith 60 spacious all weather semi-hard standingpitches for your caravan, tent, trailer tentor motorcaravan.

We have a further 5 premier pitches with fullservices on a section of the park calledHeydon’s Meadow, which is a Caravan ClubCertificated Location.

We have several hardstanding drive-on pitchessuitable for motorhomes.

The Park, which has a tranquil rural atmosphere,is mostly sheltered, divided into woody pocketsand open areas. It features a delightful wildlifepond, landscaped garden areas and naturalwildflower bankings.

The Park Facilities

The Old Brick Kilns continues to be developed withgreat attention to detail. The main buildingaccommodates all the main facilities of the park, isfully central heated (when necessary) and has directaccess for wheel chairs along firm pathways.

Service pointsThree service points are conveniently sited forwater, fire and waste disposal. The areas areconverted to provide ample shelter when theweather is not so pleasant; they’re also softly lit,making them particularly suitable for those darkevenings and for late arrivals. A Motorhome waterfilling and waste disposal is available near theInformation Centre.

Reception and shopThe reception desk, shop and first aid post aresituated together within the main building. Theshop, which has an off-licence, supplies most basicfoods, toiletries, along with home-made produce,fresh breads and hot croissants, sweets, drinks andice creams, caravan accessories, maps, postcards,stamps and local crafts.

Licensed restaurantBarney’s Restaurant & Bar is open on selectednights of the week during the season (mainlyWed/Fri/Sat & Sun) so come and join us for a drink,book a table or pick-up a takeaway. Please ask fordetails at Reception.

Facilities

Showers and toiletsThe showers are large, free and untimed. Theyfeature underfloor heating in the dry changingareas, with full central heating when required. Thewashbasins have their own individual cubicles withmirrors, hooks and shelving. The ladies’ area has ababy bath and changing facility, hot air hand dryerand hair dryer. In addition, the gentleman’s area hasrazor points. A second toilet block is provided onthe lower part of the park. Both with free hot waterall day.

Special needs facilitiesOur purpose-built washroom for those with specialneeds has a RADAR lock and is large enough toaccommodate helpers. The design of the roomincludes a number of handrails and grab handles. Itis equipped with a low washbasin, low/raised toilet,full-length mirror and an alarm bell. The shower isextra-sized with a mobile seat and fully adjustabletemperature controlled shower head.

Laundry roomThe laundry room has token operated washingmachines, tumble dryer, iron and board and freehot water.

Food preparation and wash-up roomThis room has three stainless steel sinks andchopping boards.

FishingThere is a small fishing lake for coarse fishingcontaining carp, bream, rudd and tench.

DogsDogs are welcome on the park, provided they canbe kept reasonably quiet, on a short lead and thatany accidents are cleared up immediately. A dogwalk is provided around the park which is equippedwith Fido bins to maintain statutory cleanliness.Longer walks can be taken nearby. Free maps oflocal walks are available from reception.
