we Ride Head.

Christophe is Bavarian born and bred, and a leading player in the German snowboard scene. He is not only a veteran in the Isenseven crew but also competed in the 2006 and 2010 Olympics, as well as a list of other contests too long to mention. He rides the Force i. Kers and the NX Three bindings and the Team Boa Hybrid boots.

Ai’s preferred terrain is powder and backcountry, which is pretty lucky considering she hails from Ja-pan, home of the mythical deeps. Her board of choice is the She’s Evil Kers Flocka, which she complements with NX Fay Five bindings and Jinx Boa boots.

As comfortable tearing up the streets as he is throw-ing roosters in the backcountry or stomping double off booters, Fredrik is your stereotypical all-round rip-per. His preferred setup includes The Evil Kers Flocka, Team Boa Hybrids and NX Five Team bindings.

Shayne is a Jersey boy and earned his snowboard proficiency badge in Vermont’s school of hard knocks. He has since gone west and can be found riding the winters away in Mammoth filming with the GIVIN on his The Evil Kers Flocka, Team Boa Hybrid and NX Five Team bindings.

Snowboarding is second nature for Matti, with a cat like ability to land on his feet, the spinability of a centrifuge and a magnetic attraction to rails. His ride of choice is Head’s Tribute i., while on his feet he sports the Team Boa Hybrid locked firmly into a pair of NX Five Team.

If you’re a fan of Isenseven then Tom Klocker is no stranger. This young shredder from Hippach, Austria likes nothing more than to knocking the life out of booters in the park and backcountry but is also not adverse to a little street action. He rides the Force i. Kers with NX Five Team bindings and the Team Boa Hybrid boot.

Like Head teammates Klocker, Evensen and Schmidt Alex Tank lays it down for the Isenseven crew and having earned himself the opener for Don’t Panic! and a killer part in their latest movie Kaleidoscope has scored top gun wings for his jibbery. The Defy i. Kers Rocka is his board of choice, topped off with NX Five Team bindings and Premium SSL boots.

Atti hails from Sweden’s snowboard incubator, Umeå, and is mad keen on slopestyle. She likes to hit up jibs and kickers on her She’s Evil Kers Flocka, Jinx Boa boots and NX Fay Five bindings.

This iconic poster printing company from Nashville, Tennessee, has been responsible for producing tour posters for acts as diverse as Queens of the Stone Age, Elvis Presley and Jeff Beck. With a history stretching back to 1879 and their distinctive, handcrafted letterpress methods they were the perfect partners to create the artwork for our Camba line of snow-boards.

Based in New York, George Bates’s work is primarily driven by the diverse, expressive possibilities offered by the humble sketchbook and we’re proud to have him use our Flocka boards as the medium for his creativity. His eye-catching illustrations riff on the micro/macro theme and undulat-ing typographic illustration that characterize much of his work.

Our Rocka boards’ idiosyncratic look is down to the inspired mastery of Brooklyn’s Justin Kauffmann, aka JustInk. This painter, illustrator and graphic designer’s head is populated by a sundry tangle of creatures, as deviant as they are diverse. Their one mutual quality though is their quirky humour instilled in them by their master and creator JustInk.

This season we’re stoked to have been able to col-laborate with three super talented creatives to design the artwork on our snowboard collection. with each concentrating on specific lines, they help illustrate our camber story and, more importantly, ensure that our snowboards look amazing.

The classic, tried and tested base profile. Perfect for aggressive riders wanting the utmost precision on their edge, and who demand a lively boost out of their turns with the kind of intense ollie power this base profile is famed for. If hard charging is your M.O, this is the base profile for you. The single-colored sidewall running between the tip and tail’s contact points reflects the 100% effective edge in play no matter how hard you crank your turns. Preferred by Christophe Schmidt & Tom Klocker.

Blending the best of Camba with the best of Rocka, Flocka is totally flat between the bindings and extends toward the tip and tail. Riding straight the effective edge is shorter to reduce hooking but when you turn more edge comes into play for stability, and when you really power your carves you have the same effective edge as with Camba. This 3-stage effective edge is represented on the sidewalls. Backed by Fredrik Evensen, Shayne Pospisil, Matti Kinnunen, Ai Kunioka, Atti Holst & Tina Ramholt.

Reverse cambered for a loose, fun, buttery jib vibe. This base profile is aimed at snowboarders wanting their rides catchfree and loose – in one word: skatestyle. A small effective edge when not turning means it’s but-tery as hell and gets you out of jail. Put it on its rails, however, and more edge is engaged to prevent skipping out of carves – illustrated by the different colours on the sidewalls. These are a dream to press the hell out of, too. Head’s Snake profile moves the camber to the tail of the board. This unique camber design means that as soon as you strap in the nose of the board is pushed upwards for superior float in powder. The Snake also has a high tail for riding switch.

Rocka is Head’s easy-riding, “catch-free” concave cam-ber profile, ideal for smooth presses and butters, lift in the pow and an effortless slide in the streets or on the mountain.

Flocka delivers the best of both worlds, with the preci-sion and predictability of camber and the playfulness of and “catch-free” ride of rocker. In short Flocka has a broken-in feel but with the solid pop of a new stick.

Camba is Head’s traditional camber profile. The board is convex from the tip and tail contact points to an apex in the center of the board, which delivers optimum power transfer for pop plus intense manouverability and grip.

The Flocka Twin is a freestyle beast, combining the pre-cision of true camber with the broken-in feel of rocker. In short it makes freestyling fun and accessible.

Head’s Twins are built for the trickster whose domain extends from pipe and park to the metal and concrete of the street. Switch tricks and fakie landings have never been so easy.

Our Directional Twin boards are not only precision all-mountain riding tools, they are equally adept in the park and pipe.

Head freeride boards open up the backcountry for your riding pleasure. The directional shape is built for stabil-ity, speed and lift in the powder but can be comfortably ridden switch out of those backcountry back fives.

Intellifibers are piezoelectric fibers that absorb energy from edge-to-edge turns and stiffen up to give more control and power to the board.

KERS (Kinetic Energy Recovery System) is a system we’ve adapted straight from Formula 1 to harvest ki-netic energy produced during edge-to-edge turns, which is transferred to electric energy via piezoelectric fibres and stored in the KERS chip. This is then fed it back to you when you ollie or power carve. The upshot is you’ll be fired out of turns and get insane pop off transitions.

The Core is made from handpicked full-length poplar stringers – lively and long-lasting.

Made using poplar, this is engineered to be the lightest, strongest wood core available and to deliver maximum responsiveness.

A glass weave laminate incorporated into our snow-boards. The Cruiser jacket provides a smooth effortless ride.

The Biaxial Control Jacket is a tight glass laminate weave within our snowboards that optimises control. The Control jacket, well, puts you in control.

Carbon and Kevlar stringers span the area between con-tact points and generate pop and tempered riding agility respectively. Lively yet smooth.

Cross Carbon inserts convey quick edge-to-edge re-sponse.

Our sintered bases feature high wax absorption and a dense molecular structure for unbeatable durability and ease of maintenance.

Head’s premium sole has the skate-inspired Vulcanized look with visible EVA cushioning throughout for the best im-pact absorption in the line. The material is tough as hell and the pretzel-shaped tread not only reflects our heritage, they offer great grip for hiking.

Skatestyled with a Vulcanized look and embracing our German roots with the pretzel tread, this sole unit has a shock-absorbing EVA heel cushion to take the sting out of landings.

The Stylite sole has EVA in the midsole to minimize weight and an overlaid light-weight mesh for maximum grip where needed. The result is the best light-weight sole that Head have ever made, with ultimate control and comfort.

In addition to the grip and stability of the Moonwalker the Moonwalker SA also includes a highly effective shock-absorbing cushion in the heel to suck up hard landings.

The Moonwalker provides supreme grip, dampening and stability. Inner rubber studs conform and grip on all surfaces, while the main frame offers support and stability.

This is Head’s premium women’s sole, featuring outstanding grip and stability as well as shock-absorbent pads under both the heel and toe, to make riding that much more comfortable for the girl who goes big.

The Moonwalker W sole provides supreme grip, dampening and stability for women. Inner rubber studs conform and grip on all surfaces giving, while the main frame offers support and stability.

The Cuff Cut eliminates bulging and deformation of the shell and gives a smooth forward flex.

The Ankle Flex Notch allows a boot to flex without distor-tion or pinching.

All boots come with a 3D molded shell tongue that of-fers strong forward lean support and gives a proper fit. Perfect for directly transmitting energy to the board.

HTS is an injection molded cup which wraps around the heel of the boot and locks into the binding’s highback for precision interaction between rider/boot/bindings and board.

The Soft Top eliminates pressure on the back of the leg while allowing for a more natural and comfortable heel-side flex to the boot.

The Women’s Comfort System provides a comfier fit and more natural flex on heelside turns while the lower pro-file of the cuff is more ergonomic for a woman’s lower leg.

The SSL II System (Single SpeedLock) comes with a pre-cise lace lock mechanism that’s designed to be the fast-est, smoothest and most efficient speed lacing system on the market. Simply pull the single lace grip tight, push the lever on the tongue down to lock your lace in place. And that’s it – Go shred!

These are designed to be strong and durable while al-lowing you to get the most precise, personalized fit thanks to their independent grip to the laces.

LACE UP: Push the knob in and turn for effortless tighten-ing and a comfortable fit.UNLACE: Just pull the knob to pop and unlock. The Dy-namic Closure system is a replaceable miniature high tensile stainless steel cable that runs through the lace guides with minimal friction for perfect pressure distri-bution and a micro-adjusting fit.

This combination of lacing and BOA is the best of both worlds. Have the tight and dependable fit of a traditional lace with a BOA-guided strap over the instep to keep your heel locked in like never before. Fast and precise.

The Double Power Strap is a unique feature developed by HEAD for improved power and support. By simply tightening the strap at the top of the boot, the nature of its design means the closure force doubles around your calf providing impressive calf hold and therefore adding awesome power to your turns.

A unique, centrally located cable routing system for the BOA boot that allows evenly-distributed tightening to both the upper and lower sections of your boot. This powerful system greatly improves the fit over the entire foot and specifically locks in your heel due to the centrally located cable guide design over the ankle.

This is the fastest, most comfortable way to lace a BOA boot. The advantage of the Coiler is the integrated auto-tightening of the tension cable – it’s quick in and quicker out. You immediately have more comfort and control, which translates to higher performance.

This system marries the smooth convenience of our new SSL II speedlace with the precision lockdown of BOA over the ankle. Heel hold can be adjusted externally on the fly and it’s so secure we can dispense with lacing on the lower liner for the easiest entry and exit around.

Our Instep Pad Strap (IPS) gives supreme heel hold and eliminates the need for laces on the lower liner to give easier entry and exit and improved comfort. The padded strap sits over the ankle and pulls the heel further into the heel pocket, and also distributes pressure from the ankle strap more evenly over the top of the foot for com-fort that’s on another level.

These allow the boot to have a more consistent flex, plus they avoid pressure points on the ankle when flexing forward.

Our patented solution to making entry and exit from a traditional two-strap binding as hassle-free as possible. Auto Open Straps are hinged on the sides of the pad-ded toe strap so when you step out they automatically lie outside the binding and keep the base unobstructed for the easiest re-entry. You’ll spend less time strapping and more time lapping.

Silicone pads under the toe and heel were added to the full-length shock-absorbent EVA base pad for added cushioning in the zones you need it.

This liner dispenses with lower lacing (not needed because of IPS and Hy-brid lacing on the shell) to eliminate pressure points and give even easier entry and exit without compromising on fit. It is custom heat moldable, the lining is made of natural antimicro-bial Bamboo charcoal and there’s a 3D molded insole with a solid heelcup to prevent heel movement and give proper arch support.

Metal loops and a Tetoron lace mate-rial make for easier sliding laces and an easier entry and exit. These liners are heat mouldable, come with a 3D moulded insole with a solid heelcup to avoid heel movement, and give proper arch support.

Our most advanced liner. The lower section has a Velcro strap to custom-ize the width and a Power Transmis-sion Pocket holds your toes down securely on heelside turns. Bamboo charcoal lining is natural and anti-microbial and the breathable foam used helps wick moisture away from your foot. A Collar Velcro strap allows you to crank it tight for direct power transmission and the triple density insole has a strong heelcup, signifi-cant arch support and a shock pad in the heel. Heat moldable, too.

We removed the lower lacing (not needed because of IPS and Hybrid lacing) to eliminate pressure points and allow easier entry. Like the men’s version, we improved the lacing for an easier entry and exit. These are custom heat mold-able, come with a 3D molded insole and have a lower heelside collar to accommdate women’s calves.

Our Thermo Insole is made from lightweight, yet su-per supportive EVA foam that provides great vibration dampening and comfort. The result is your feet will thank you for keeping them warm and cozy.

Our FPT (Foot Power Transmission) insole is put together using 3 different densities for maximum performance: 1) A stiffer material that surrounds your heel for that locked-in heel grip feel. 2) A shock absorbing pad un-der the heel where you need it most to soak up heavy landings and to keep your feet relaxed on hard packed days. 3) A softer forefoot construction giving additional comfort and keeping your hard working toes warm all day long.

The FPG (Foot Precise Guidance) insole features a cupped heel shape and curved arch under your instep, providing you with maximum support for your entire foot. No more cramping means a more fun riding!

A Velcro strap around the toebox allows you to adjust its width to avoid slipping in the boot if you have a narrow foot. Pull out the liner, tighten the strap according to your needs and step into the boot again. You will feel the difference.

Fine-tune the liner’s toebox volume by adding/removing EVA pads to the Power Transmission Pocket. It provides great support for the toes when doing heelside turns.

The tongue extends all the way into the toebox. No over-lapping means no pressure points on your toes.

This socket construction around the liner’s heel works just like an ankle brace: the outer mesh wraps around the foot and offers additional support to your ankles.

The Eyestay Bow Cut in the ankle area compliments the Cuff Cut on the shell - preventing the liner from dis-torting when flexing forward. Having no bulges avoids wrinkles and pressure points.

A foot is thinner on the lateral toe side than on the me-dial side. This is why our liners come with an asymmetric toe shape – for the perfect anatomic fit.

Custom-mold our liners by heating them up in-store or at home and then step into them so they take the shape of your feet. The ultimate glove-like fit.

This lightweight padding has been heat molded to follow the contours of the foot and ankle. It improves fit and flex while not compromising performance.

We applied μ-func lining mesh to our insoles: it’s proven to be 3°C warmer compared to standard lining meshes.

Slick Fit Straps wrap the liner for a super snug fit when the lace is tightened. They keep your feet in place and reduce any heel lift.

μ-func lining mesh is a highly technical fiber that re-flects your body heat, which is why we use it in the toe areas of our liners to keep your feet warmer than ever.

To tighten, just pull the inner liner lace with just one hand... and it locks itself! To release, simply pull the tongue loop forward. It doesn’t get much easier than this.

Breathable L-shaped pads in the heel wrap around your anklebone to keep your feet in place and protect your ankles from pressure points.

Our high-precision foam offers precise power transmis-sion with a great fit. This breathable foam helps to keep your feet dry when sweating. Essential for a slip-free fit and warm feet when the mercury heads south.

Panels on the bottom of the outsole reflect the cold tem-perature back to the snow and help keep your feet warm.

Hybrid Lacing is a combination of a lace secured with Easylock on the lower section and a Velcro collar strap on the liner’s cuff. Individually adjust the liner’s sections with precision according to your needs.

Our women’s heel pads are softer and thinner than the men’s pads, offering a female-specific cozy fit.

The Jade is a boot for women who want to ride hard all day in comfort and is all about providing a rider with the maximum customizable fit – from liner, to shell, to lacing you choose. Add to this is a forgiving forward lean and flex pattern, shock absorbers in the sole, heat reflective material in the liner and a heel cupping FPG insole all geared towards creating a per-formance boot that is stress-free to ride all day long, anywhere on the hill.

COMFORT FOR CHARGINGWith a combination of forgiving flex and a less demanding forward lean the Zora is an easy-riding boot for rookie to intermediate riders. This iconic poster printing company from Nashville, Tennessee, has been responsible for producing tour posters for acts as diverse as Queens of the Stone Age, Elvis Presley and Jeff Beck. With a history stretching back to 1879 and their distinctive, handcrafted letterpress methods they were the perfect partners to create the artwork for our Camba line of snow-boards.

Based in New York, George Bates’s work is primarily driven by the diverse, expressive possibilities offered by the humble sketchbook and we’re proud to have him use our Flocka boards as the medium for his creativity. His eye-catching illustrations riff on the micro/macro theme and undulat-ing typographic illustration that characterize much of his work.

Our Rocka boards’ idiosyncratic look is down to the inspired mastery of Brooklyn’s Justin Kauffmann, aka JustInk. This painter, illustrator and graphic designer’s head is populated by a sundry tangle of creatures, as deviant as they are diverse. Their one mutual quality though is their quirky humour instilled in them by their master and creator JustInk.

This season we’re stoked to have been able to col-laborate with three super talented creatives to design the artwork on our snowboard collection. with each concentrating on specific lines, they help illustrate our camber story and, more importantly, ensure that our snowboards look amazing.

Christophe is Bavarian born and bred, and a leading player in the German snowboard scene. He is not only a veteran in the Isenseven crew but also competed in the 2006 and 2010 Olympics, as well as a list of other contests too long to mention. He rides the Force i. Kers and the NX Three bindings and the Team Boa Hybrid boots.

Ai’s preferred terrain is powder and backcountry, which is pretty lucky considering she hails from Ja-pan, home of the mythical deeps. Her board of choice is the She’s Evil Kers Flocka, which she complements with NX Fay Five bindings and Jinx Boa boots.

As comfortable tearing up the streets as he is throw-ing roosters in the backcountry or stomping double off booters, Fredrik is your stereotypical all-round rip-per. His preferred setup includes The Evil Kers Flocka, Team Boa Hybrids and NX Five Team bindings.

Shayne is a Jersey boy and earned his snowboard proficiency badge in Vermont’s school of hard knocks. He has since gone west and can be found riding the winters away in Mammoth filming with the GIVIN on his The Evil Kers Flocka, Team Boa Hybrid and NX Five Team bindings.

Snowboarding is second nature for Matti, with a cat like ability to land on his feet, the spinability of a centrifuge and a magnetic attraction to rails. His ride of choice is Head’s Tribute i., while on his feet he sports the Team Boa Hybrid locked firmly into a pair of NX Five Team.

If you’re a fan of Isenseven then Tom Klocker is no stranger. This young shredder from Hippach, Austria likes nothing more than to knocking the life out of booters in the park and backcountry but is also not adverse to a little street action. He rides the Force i. Kers with NX Five Team bindings and the Team Boa Hybrid boot.

Like Head teammates Klocker, Evensen and Schmidt Alex Tank lays it down for the Isenseven crew and having earned himself the opener for Don’t Panic! and a killer part in their latest movie Kaleidoscope has scored top gun wings for his jibbery. The Defy i. Kers Rocka is his board of choice, topped off with NX Five Team bindings and Premium SSL boots.

Atti hails from Sweden’s snowboard incubator, Umeå, and is mad keen on slopestyle. She likes to hit up jibs and kickers on her She’s Evil Kers Flocka, Jinx Boa boots and NX Fay Five bindings.
