We adhere to our iterative deve- lopment process according to ISO 9001 and work through the corresponding project phases.

ConceptAfter drawing up a joint and accurate clarification of your needs, we work together with you to create the specifications (intended use) for your project. In addition, we discuss and evaluate the various types of financing available.

Feasibility planningThe risks of the project are syste- matically analysed and weighted. We also draw up a rough project plan that contains the important milestones in the project. Models or prototypes are made if they are needed for the next phase or as the basis for the decision making process. At the end of this phase, the specifications are worked out using the documentation previously created.

DevelopmentThe is worked on according to the specifications. Our expertise in the fields of engineering, electrical engineering, software development, CAD design, sheet metal production and assembly technology is applied in various combinations depending on the complexity and requirements of the project. During this phase, the client is kept up to date at all times on the progress of the development. We believe it is particularly impor- tant to have open and regular communication.A prototype is created during the development process. The subse- quent development is further refined on the basis of this proto- type and the customer requirements are verified according to the specifications.

Design transfer, verificationAll of the documents previously drawn up are reviewed and used for generating the manufacturing data. It is at this stage that the 0-series is tested, approved or rejected. Another component in the verification process is the product’s acceptance by the customer or a testing organisation. Different standards and guidelines must be adhered to depending on the type of product, such as the EMC machinery directive or the SUVA security policies.

ValidationIf it is so agreed with the customer, the product is validated. This means that the suitability of the product for its intended use is tested in practice, in the field or on the customer’s premises. After the validation is completed, the project is concluded with a final report.

ANTA SWISS AG – DevelopmentTogether with you, we develop a solution that is tailored to your needs:

Solar Press-Shark

10 | 11Solar Press-Shark

The Solar Press-Shark is a forward-looking invention

It saves on resources and cuts back on emptying times.

The Solar Press-Shark uses state of the art technology. The powerful solar panel

on the sloping top can be rotated 360 degrees and aligned to which ever direction

you require. Because of its contact-free control, the Solar Press-Shark is extremely

user-friendly and hygienic.

The safety flap closes automatically before every compacting process.

The inner container is easily pulled out of the Shark with a simple handle and then emptied as normal with the bag. Only one person is ever needed to do the job.

The most important facts in a nutshell:

The volume of waste is compacted 4 to 7 times. This creates a total capacity of 500 to over 700 litres.

Passers-by can dispose of their waste securely without touching the unit. (TÜV tested)

The Solar Press-Shark does not run off the mains so you are free to choose its location.

A coloured LED on the Shark indicates the fill level.

The solar cells are protected by hardened glass and always work off an optimum power consumption thanks to the properties of this material.

The ashtray drawer is optional, if it is not used, a blank cover is mounted in its place. Its protection against fire is ensured with an integrated automatic extinguishing system.

The Solar Press-shark fits in beautifully with the Shark collection. The Solar Press-Shark is installed in exactly the same way as the other Sharks.

Advantages of the 3 mm thick chrome-plated steel: vandal-proof, easy to clean (even graffiti), fire-inhibiting and rust-free.

The 25 degree angled top of the Solar Press-Shark can be rotated in-situ to suit the direction of the sun and opti-mally aligned. Design: Werner Zemp

Waste management

Optimum waste disposal

Optimum management of waste containers using an intelligent measuring system and

wireless communication. Thanks to this system, unnecessary trips to empty half-empty

or completely empty bins can be avoided. When the waste containers are almost full,

they send out a message to request emptying.

Optimum waste disposal The Waste Management System is ideally suited for the disposal of public waste containers. They are equipped with an intelligent level measuring system that avoids unnecessary trips to half-empty waste containers. Before the waste container is completely full, the system sends out a message in good time to request its emptying.

The sophisticated devices forecast the next likely «full state», saving on time, cost and energy. There is also the further benefit of keeping the town tidy and looking smart, as the full waste containers are always emptied at the right time.

How the Waste Management System worksThe devices measure the current fill level on a regular basis. This infor-mation is then sent wireless via GSM/GPRS to the Littershark Island.

About the waste level metersSupplementing existing Littersharks with waste level meters is very straightforward. The waste container is fitted with a robust waste level meter in-situ or at our site.

What does the Littershark Island have to offer? The level of the waste container can be called up at any time and from anywhere using a smartphone or another mobile communication device. The only requirement is a connection to the Internet. This service makes it possible to opti-mally plan trips to empty the con-tainer and ensures the efficient use of personnel and service vehicles.

Various additional features, such as a record of how many times a container is emptied every month, provide useful information for invoicing purposes and the alloca-tion of costs.

Intelligent waste management thanks to its remote monitoring system.

Merchandise-safe

14 | 15Merchandise safe

Protecting your valuables

The reliable solution against unauthorised access.

The Merchandise-safe was designed in cooperation with a major Swiss retailer.

It significantly reduces the level of theft in retail outlets. Petty thieves no longer have

the opportunity to steal and sales staff can relax and focus on their job.

The most important facts in a nutshell:

The Merchandise-safe protects the products (such as cigarettes, razor blades and batteries) with a simple locking technique.

The roller shutter closes automatically as soon as the sales staff leave the designated range via a wireless control system. This is triggered by the transponder worn by the personnel in the shop.

The inner workings of the system in terms of the arrangement and number of shelves used depend on the needs of the customer and can be config-ured accordingly.

The individual shelves can be completely pulled out.

Mechanical merchandise pusher systems can also be integrated thanks to the use of standard shop fitting shelves.

The Butterfly Merchandise-safe works independently. It does not require an additional system (e.g. POS system) to run it. However, it must have a 230V power supply from the mains.

Merchandise-safe transponder

The top part of the Merchandise-safe can be used as a surface for advertising.

The range (red circle) can be set at the factory from 1.5 metres up to 4.5 metres.

18 | 19Ballot box

The two different designs for the city of Zurich. The ballot box is ready for you to cast your vote.

The most important facts in a nutshell:

Although nowadays in some municipalities the ballots and votes can be cast electronically, the method using the ballot box is by far the safest way of safeguarding people’s right to vote.

It is also ideal for those individuals who do not have access to the internet.

The ballot box from ANTA SWISS AG was developed in collaboration with the city of Zurich and meets the highest requirements in terms of a confidential voting system.

The materials used to produce the box (aluminium and chrome-plated steel) make it easy to transport.

Its sophisticated locking technology with two lids and a paper seal protects the contents from unlawful tampering.

There are no limits to the possibilities regarding colour and inscriptions.

Secret and secure

A vote for every democracy

Switzerland is one of the few countries that lives by the governance of direct demo-
