This year has been a remarkable year for blueseventy. Our range of wetsuits and swim

gear has become a global phenomenon, with leading athletes from all corners of the earth

wearing blueseventy as the brand of choice. Our expectations for 2010 are higher and

For the last 20 years we have designed, tested, refi ned and crafted wetsuits that go way

The name blueseventy derives from the fact that 70% of the world is covered in water and

DIFFERENCE.At blueseventy, we celebrate it. Different day, different races, different athletes. It’s

what’s driven the design of our new range of Balanced Buoyancy wetsuits, a recognition

that everyone runs, rides and swims differently, requiring various combinations of fi t,

fl exibility and buoyancy.

Our 2010 line of wetsuits are the antitheses of the popular notion that one size fi ts all,

recognizing that no two body types share the same natural buoyancy and muscle fi bre

WETSUITS.

Our 2010 Helix is purpose built for a swimmer that requires a highly fl exible suit, and neutral buoyancy. Unique construction combined with highly fl exible materials produce an

unrestricted range of movement, while buoyancy panels throughout the suit deliver a higher body position in the water.

New in the 2010 Helix, is the location of laminated fabric panels on the outside arm of the suit. This paper thin material is over printed with a reinforcing stripe, specifi cally

designed and located to improve function and form through the recovery and reach phase of the swim stroke. The net result of this is a longer, more powerful and effi cient stroke.

The improved awareness and placement of the arm reduces the risk of injury, normally created by the lowering of the elbow during the propulsion phase.

The high stretch TST panels remain, mechanically decoupling the arms from the rest of the suit working to ‘fl oat’ the arm and improve shoulder extension, stroke length, and

comfort. 2 generations of Helix has delivered the ultimate swimming experience. Olympic champions, world champions and the world’s fastest swimmers and triathletes have

WETSUITS.

With over 85% of triathlon competitors coming from a running, cycling or other sport background, blueseventy recognises that many athletes possess a denser leg make

up due to well-exercised and established thigh muscles and dense calves. ‘Heavier legs’ leave the majority of triathletes at a distinct disadvantage in the fi rst discipline. Our

goal is to give the world a faster swimming experience, so the Axis suit has been developed with the focus on centralizing buoyancy and balancing out the buoyancy zones.

The body has a large buoyancy zone in the torso, two big air bags we know as the lungs! With such large natural fl oatation it makes sense for those with a buoyancy

centered on the upper body, to focus the extreme additional suit buoyancy in the lower extremities. By placing higher buoyancy materials in the hips, thighs and lower leg

the goal of ‘Balanced Buoyancy’ is achieved. By increasing the height of the lower body and lifting the legs and hips, the body is in a more streamlined position allowing for

a more effi cient swim stroke.

The new blueseventy carbonRACE Goggles are made from the latest technologically advanced CFP (Carbon Fibre Polymer). Polycarbonate has long been the standard in the

aquatic eye wear industry… not anymore. CFP is up to 6 times stronger and allows the construction of the key engineered elements of a modern swim goggle to be twice as

light as a standard goggle. This means huge weight reductions increasing comfort levels, without sacrifi cing strength.

CFP has been hailed as the next step in lightweight engineered polymers and it is produced exclusively for blueseventy.
