The unit always remembers thelast settings it was switched off with.

Integrated Argon Gas

used especially in endoscopy suitesin laparoscopy and thoracoscopythe argon plasma coagulation withconstant gas flow provides for rapidhemostasis of large surface blee-dings without any contact, limitedpenetration depth (only max. 3mmin combination with SPRAY mode)and a low risk of perforation. Themonopolar current is sent into tissuevia an ionized argon gas stream. Asoxygen is displaced by the argongas in the working area of the activeelectrodes, smells and smoke areabsent and visibility is improved.There is no adhesion between theapplicator and the tissue. Specialaccessories are required.

GEISTER® XSMOKE Smoke Evacuatordesigned to evacuate and filter the smoke produced during all electro-surgical procedures, thus eliminating bad smells or the bacteriologicalrisks, and improving significantly the visual field during laparoscopic pro-cedures. The GEISTER® XSMOKE is equipped with an electric suctionwith high flow and a low noise level, a special circuit for the connec tionto a central vacuum supply system, and another circuit for the controlledoutput of the CO2 which is used in the laparoscopic procedures forpneumoperitoneum. Electrodes for Argon Gas enhanced surgeryrapid hemostasis of large surface bleedings without any contact, limitedpenetration depth and a low risk of perforation. The monopolar currentis sent into tissue via an ionized argon gas stream. As oxygen is displaced by the argon gas in the working area of the active electrodes smells and smoke are absent and visibility is improved.
