The KHL external lock (I Novo D e s i g n & D a m e A w a r d s nominated) is a lock for headsails, easy to install. It makes it possible to no longer have tension in the halyard and, avoid wears
and stretch for more safety, less weight, and more performance… The KHL may be used for a spinnaker (using a snuffer or not).
The KMH internal halyard lock (I Novo Design Awards nominated) is a locking device for headsails installed by mast manufacturers. This mechanism is integrated into the mast and enables to maximize the luff length. As the halyard is no
longer taking the load when the sail is hoisted, it makes it possible to decrease the halyard diameter as well as to remove the jammer installed to hold the halyard. As a result, one will gain in weight and thus, performance.
