NEWS from Celeste: Our Kappa Phi website has gone through some major updates, and it

has received certification from DKG International. To receive thiscertification, the website had to be formatted in a specific way, and it

had to have certain content and links. Because we have a certifiedwebsite, it can be accessed directly from the DKG Texas website and

the DKG International website. Be sure to check it out at

www.kappaphitexas.weebly.com.

You might be surprised at what you will find there!

Exciting News from the December 4th Auction

Eighteen members and six guests attended the Decembermeeting! I am thrilled to report that I have deposited $1171into our chapter’s account which is earmarked for our Grant-in-Aid fund. This will go a long way in making our Grant-in-Aid project successful. Pat yourselves on the back for doing a great job.

Special thanks to those of you who brought guests! It was awonderful turnout. Thanks, too, to those of you who “padded”

your donation. We should also give special recognition toCharlotte Davis for sending us those marvelous scrubbers shemade and sent for the auction. They went “like hotcakes” and

many of us will have cleaner abodes. Thanks for the honey, too.

We were grateful to Susan Lindsay for hosting in her lovelyhome. We all know that was a lot of effort on her part and itshowed.

I am hoping that those members who were not able to join

us will want to contribute to the cause. You can do that by

mailing a check to me:
