August 2012/13 Issue : 2 15th Rota year

August 2012: RI Presidents message “I believe that the purpose of every life is to help others and contribute to society.

To strengthen Rotary, we need more members. But unless those members are convinced of the benefits of the organization and can share that passion with others, expanding Rotary won’t be meaningful.”

President Devendra hands over the cheque to the

Principle on behalf of the Rotaracts.

Rs. 10,000/ for teachers table (balance of fund

received from RC Landshut Germany).

As one of the Partner in Service, Rotaract Cubs have certain responsibilities to perform. I am sure you will do much better than your predecessors. This year i.e., for 2012/13 Rotary year, we have set certain District Goals which are also related to Rotaract and Interact Clubs. I would suggest you keep constant touch with the President of your Parent Club and see the projects where Rotaract clubs can play vital roles to fulfill the District Goals.

Message from DG Yogendra Man Pradhan

Movie Review by Smriti Maskey

The movie is inspiring with essence of human life and

features the changing life journey of an ordinary man.

It highlights that faith and trust in others gains you

respect and that it is never too late to start a new

beginning just like a famous quote; „you get in return

what you give to others.‟

My advice; please see the movie.

Dear Mid-Towners,

I am very glad that i got an opportunity to be a part of one of the most active Rotaract Club in

Nepal. Though i was a guest for a short time, i learned many things from everyone, especially

Lekha mam, Saugat Dai and Kishor Dai. I got so many good friends whom i can never forget.

Those were some wonderful days which i can’t forget ever. Being a part of this club, i got more

involved into community services and I thank all RAC Ktm Mid-Town family for helping me help

myself and others. I could not be there till the end of Mega Vision Screening program cause of

my studies. But i am looking forward to be a part of some other program or event when i come to

Kathmadnu for a month or two. Love you RAC Mid-Town family and I miss you all.

With Love,

Ashish

Your club continues to impress me with your professionalism” A formal approach (form etc.) to signing twin club agreements, detailed thought papers for projects, prompt responses to emails and now a very meticulously planned joint GBM. Simply amazing! I've been a part of Rotaract and Rotary in 3 cities and 2 countries over the last 8 years and you are definitely the most professional club I have seen. We are delighted to be signing a twin club agreement with you. The agenda looks great. Regards, Vijay ===========================================================================================
