KaGo & Hammerschmidt was founded by Klaus Gohl in 1992. One year later Kai Hammerschmidt joined the company. Thenceforth, both have treated the path to create breathtaking worlds. It started with the production of decorative fountains and it fast developed into creating exclusive home biotops with textile plants, rock imi-tations as well as lighting and water effects. Nowadays, KaGo & Hammerschmidt is among the leading artificial rock builders in Europe and is a reliable partner for customized interior and landscape design with four key pro-ducts: artificial rocks, façade decorations, artificial plants, trees and palm trees. Own brands are true-to-nature climbing rocks, suitable for children, as well as sitting and relaxing rocks in different heights. We make use of a versatile and almost inexhaustible fund of surface and material designs, which are continually updated with our new and innovative ideas.

We are decorating animal parks, zoos, water and spa areas, amusement parks, film and theatre sceneries, hotels, private houses and gardens, as well as public areas.

Thanks to the systematic composition of our main products we build fabulous worlds, which are hardly to dis-tinguish from nature. We plan your projects optimally and efficiently always integrating our expertise and our ideas in close cooperation with you, our clients. In order to ensure this quality internally we have been certified according to DIN ISO 9001:2008 since 2013.

Creativity, craftsmanship on a high level, quality and reliability are the pillars of the company´s philosophy. We attach importance to a trusting and respectful collaboration with our clients and in each project we bring these values to life with our employees and our partners.

In our current project we are participating in a cooperation named SINNflut. Various independent enterprises with many years of experience in the waterpark industry provide you with a unique multi-sensory masterplan – for happier visitors and longer dwell! Our consultant is responsible for the whole project coordination and alignment among the partners, who work hand in hand. At the same time our consultant stays in permanent contact with your selected architects and planners. Products

Artificial Rocks

The artificial rocks of KaGo & Hammerschmidt consist of a special modelling matrix.The sub construction for the elaboration of rocks with a KaGo-specific processing technology are iron gratings, Styrofoam and wooden support structures as well as hand-made artificial rock panels. The seams are modelled in various steps with conscientious handiwork before colouring. Additionally to the rock formations also trees, roots and other wooden objects can be recreated true-to-the-detail. Each imaginable shape and colour can be realized. The materials used are tested frequently regarding endurance and exposed to wind and weather so they correspond to all requirements and provide security.So, an artificial rock is created, hardly distinguishable from its heavy originals, and additionally possesses im-pressive properties:

• material thickness of approx. 10 – 80 mm and stronger• weight of approx. 20 – 160 kg/sqm• not inflammable• also applicable under water• weather resistant• very robust• frost-resistant• heatable• eco-friendly with clean-technology• low maintenance

Palms & Trees

We customize object trees and palm trees according to your wishes and adapt them to the environmental cir-cumstances. Each imaginable height, whole trees or only parts, as a passage in the form of tree bridges or also as claddings for unaesthetic columns, beams, cables and technical installations are feasible. The possibilities are nearly unlimited. The materials used are weather resistant as well as very robust.

Real and stabilized plant parts could be worked in, too. For this we preserve the real plant shortly after the cut through an innovative treatment. It is submerged into an especially developed liquid which is absorbed by the plant fibres. These stabilized plants offer various advantages: They can be set up at dim spots, they are low maintenance and have a long life time.

Façade Design

Surface design and cladding with mineralic material.With wall-painting, illusion-painting, marbling, wipe technique, air-brush, artistic skills and expertise unique scenarios and extraordinary worlds and a perfect illusion are created. Thus for example cracked walls or weathered surfaces can be simulated, new objects can age artificially, indoor turn to outdoor and small rooms to endless space– in short: Rooms become alive.

Climbing rocks, sitting and relaxing rocks

KaGo & Hammerschmidt builds climbing rocks with different levels of difficulty and climbing possibilities. Sitting and relaxing rocks offer a trendy opportunity to sit, climb and relax.Our climbing rocks as well as the sitting and relaxing rocks are availa-ble in three different standard heights as well as in customized design according to your requirements.
