How time flies.

It seems like just yesterday we were bidding adieu to crazy 2008 and here we are, a year later, saying wuddup to 2010.

So long to the year of H1N1 and hello to a new time full of possibilities,

new experiences, and of course, good times.

2009 was a roller coaster filled with ups and downs. As we ride on to the next chapter, here’s a toast to the future and a drink to the past. These are the best days.

KAMP Are you interested in community service? Helping people? How about making a difference? If either or all of these are your passions, K.A.M.P. is definitely for you!

WHAT IS KAMP?

KAMP is a community outreach program operated by Kababayan: The

Filipino Students’ Association of UBC. It was launched in 2007 out of recognition

of the unique challenges faced by the Filipino community.

A main objective of KAMP includes helping of Filipino youth to transition

into Canadian culture and society. It provides a venue for students to connect,

engage, and learn with each other in a conducive and interactive

environment that fosters personal growth among its participants.

The Kababayan Academic Mentorship Program (KAMP) is currently

seeking highly motivated and committed volunteers to mentor students at Sir

Charles Tupper in East Vancouver.
