Access only at clearly defined timesAccess authorisations can be time-limited with Kaba elolegic T-Line, the advanced function of Kaba elolegic. In addition to the «round-the-clock» time profiles, 15 addi-tional time ranges with 12 time windows each can be indi-vidually defined by the user, such as various weekday times, holiday periods and individual holidays. These time-limita-tions are a valuable contribution to building security, in par-ticular in sensitive safety zones, where risks can be reduced. Or in spaces where, for organisational reasons, access is only granted at certain times, for instance at a data processing centre of an industrial company.

Event memoryKaba elolegic T-Line can also fill memory gaps. The system registers which key was used when and where, whether it had access rights or not. Each time a key is read, an event memory, the unique card number, time and date are regis-tered. The memory is full after 1000 door movements and the oldest entry will be overwritten after that. Therefore, if an incident occurs, door movements can be traced.

Incredible possibilitiesThe U-line allows additional authorizations to be stored on the key. The resulting advantage is that access rights can be granted centrally, so it is not necessary to reprogram all doors individually. This saves time and frees up the service staff. New users can be added easily and anytime. Area- and time-specific access can be ensured, either for groups or individual visitors for example.If a key has temporary authorisations, all door movements are stored with the date and time in the medium electronics at the door (medium TraceBack).

Keys, cards, fobs The contactless electronic RFID-Legic prime technology has been developed by the Kaba Group. This technology forms the basis of the Kaba elolegic security system. Depending on the individual requirements, this technology can be used for the Kaba elolegic key, card or key fob.

Kaba elolegic cylinderKaba elolegic cylinders are available in many different options, such as a half cylinder, a standard double cylinder, both-side reading and thumbturn cylinder. Due to their modular construction and lock independence, they are completely flexible. They have a motorised blocking mechanism at the cylinder yolt. This is powered by a separate e-module with standard batteries. When the electronics recognises an authorised Kaba elolegic key, the motor-driven coupling unit engages and access is granted.

The LEGIC identification medium enables contactless identification and exchange of information between a data carrier and a read/write unit.

The Kaba elolegic cylinder is a technical masterpiece. Access rights are verified both mechanically and electronically (through the key chip).

Kaba elolegic is a modern access control system based on contactless RFID-LEGIC prime technology and contains both mechatronic and electronic system components. All components, such as keys, cards, cylinders, locks, furniture and readers, have been combined to create a coordinated, flexible and secure standalone access control system. System components are available in L-, N-, T- and U-Line versions.

Kaba elolegic compact cylinderThe Kaba elolegic compact cylinder can be installed in no time at all. The electronics is incorporated within the turning knob, there are no additional door adaptations necessary. The cylinder easily fits into existing mechanical locking systems and is the ideal solution for high-level security requirements, such as emergency fire doors, outside safety or privacy doors. The compact cylinder can be operated by the Kaba elolegic key.

Kaba elolegic digital cylinderShapely design, optical access signal, capability to integrate into existing mechanical systems and its compact size characterize this attractive cylinder. The internal knob incorporates the electronics, enabling an efficient installation and safety. The LEGIC chip recognises keys, cards or other RFID media with no contact, verifies access rights and engages the external knob using a motorised mechanism. Authorised access is shown by a green flashing of the illumination ring and an acoustic signal. The digital cylinder is operated by the Kaba elolegic key, card or fob.

Kaba elolegic readerThe standalone-operated Kaba elolegic reader fits in any standard flush-mounted socket.Thanks to the separation of the reading unit and electronics, it is safe from sabotage or vandalism and ideal for outside installations. The Kaba elolegic reader can be combined with different locking components such as door openers, motorised locks and electric locks.In addition, there is an option available which integrates all electronics in one, useable for indoor applications (Kaba elolegic compact reader). Further, there is a door furniture reader available with external electronics (Kaba elolegic c-lever remote).

Due to its space-saving design, the compact cylinder is the optimum solution for existing door components.

The Kaba elolegic digital cylinder can upgrade existing mechanical locking systems to an electronic access control solution.

Kaba elolegic c-leverUser-friendliness, elegant design and compact dimensions characterize this special electronical door furniture. The integrated LEGIC chip recognises keys, cards or other media without contact and verifies access privileges. Access is signalized acoustically by a beep and visually by the green flash of the illuminated ring. The Kaba elolegic c-lever is compatible with all standard commercial mortise door locks, so in most cases locks will not need to be changed. The Kaba elolegic c-lever is available in two shield widths, 38.5 and 54 mm and there are ten different handles to choose from. The Kaba elolegic c-lever can also be used on panic doors or hollow profiled doors.

Kaba elolegic locker lockThis battery-operated locker lock has been designed to fit all common cabinet types such as wardrobes or lockers. Many applications are possible, such as in hospitals, universities, schools, nursing homes, offices or civil security and rescue. To operate the lock, the button is pressed down with an authorized LEGIC medium (key, card or fob) and if the medium has valid access privileges, the stainless steel bolt is retracted or extracted. User-friendly programming with the master media, the portable programming device or the PC software is possible.

Kaba pushbar for emergency exitsEmergency exits are common in office or industrial buildings, whereas panic exit doors are applied in public buildings where visitors do not know the function of the escape doors, so that they can operate such exits without instructions (e.g. ministries, leisure facilities, schools, shopping centers etc.). In combination with the Kaba elolegic c-lever door furniture, this pushbar offers valuable safety for both building and people.

The Kaba elolegic c-lever door furniture, which is completely independent from the lock, can be easily retrofitted into any door without any additional wiring.

Designed for varous wardrobe and locker applications, this electronical locker lock combines convenience with flexibility.

This pushbar for emergency exits and panic exit locks is an additional accessory of the Kaba elolegic c-lever.

Kaba elolegic programmerThe programmer can delete or reprogram individual user or master keys, instead of entire groups of keys. Data can also be automatically imported from the cylinder onto the device and vice versa. The programmer and the software are both required for the programming of the Kaba elolegic time functions.

Kaba elo managerAll mechanical and mechatronic media and door components can be administered by the Kaba elo manager software. The access rights of the keys for the mechanical cylinders as well as access privileges of the Kaba elolegic components can be seen at a glance. The system administration is completed and simplified by the usage of various forms. Access rights are granted using this simple and user-friendly software. After extraction of the event memory within the door electronics, all access and door events can be seen.

Product lines and functional philosophy

The product lines (functions)The L, N, T and U-Line product lines have diverse functions. Different security and organisational purposes are covered by this wide product range. Each individual function can also be combined to meet specific customer needs.

L-/N-Line functionThe L/N-Line function allows easy electronic access without any time functions. Lost or mislaid Kaba elo-legic media (keys or cards) can be revoked immediately. This way, the cylinder does not need to be changed.

T-Line functionBased on the L- and N-Line, the T-Line also includes a time function. With the integrated real-time clock, individual and time-limited access rights can be granted. In addition, the last 1.000 door movements are saved in the cylin-der electronics.

U-Line functionIn addition to the T-Line functions, the U-Line allows the granting of tempo-rary access privileges. Access rights are managed by the Kaba elolegic manager software and are saved to the user medium. The usage of the pro-gramming device is not required. An event memory is integrated into the door electronics and the key.

The Kaba elolegic U-Line components can also be used in combination with the Kaba exos 9300 online access control system.

Kaba CardLink™The Kaba CardLink technology guaran-tees upwards compatibility with the online world. Kaba elolegic U-Line components can be used in conjunc-tion with the Kaba exos 9300 online access control system. By using just one software, the benefits of an online access control system can be com-bined with standalone components, so that the optimum solution for the customer can be provided. For example, exterior doors could be protected on-line whereas interior passageways would be operated with standalone compo-nents.
