The Programme contributes to

• the objectives of the Europe 2020 Strategy,

• the objectives of the ET 2020, including the corresponding benchmarks;

• the sustainable development of Partner Countries in the field of higher education;

• the overall objectives of the renewed framework for European cooperation in the youth field (2010-2018);

• the objective of developing the European dimension in sport, in particular grassroots sport, in line with the EU work plan for sport;

• the promotion of European values in accordance with Article 2 of the Treaty on the European Union2.

Social Inclusion

Participation of Partner Countries in KA2 projects?

• Can participate in a Strategic Partnerships or in a Knowledge Alliance as a partner

• “A partner country partner” should bring an essential added value to the project

• Consider: • Is this partner really unique? • Can it be replaced by a

European partner? • Would all the outputs,

results in the project be achieved without the Partner country partner?

Eligible participating organisations (Strategic Partnerhips and Knowledge Alliances), eg.

organization does not have a PIC number already!

• NB! All Finnish HEIs have already a PIC! Do not create a new one! Consultate your HE administration (e.g. international office)

• BUT: All the project partners must have their own PIC number (also enterprises, NGOs etc.)
