We are undoubtedly at a phase in our industry where it is difficult to give

a logical explanation to the happenings for the past few years. It is

difficult to give a definitive answer to the question: are we at the best or

worst of times? World Commodity prices for the past year or two has been

at respectable levels although demand has been on the increase and

continue to grow. This has led to increase layoff of professionals by mega

miners and reduced exploration by junior explorers and mid-tier

companies as a result of reduction in funding.

The mining industry has been under great pressures in modern times and companies have

found every need to make calculated steps to remain relevant in the sector. While the

mining industry has generally shown signs of recovery in recent times, there is the need to

make major advances and change the game towards sustainability by overcoming most of the

challenges and uncertainties.

This poses additional challenges in light of the new restructuring trend globally by mining

companies towards greater profitability, optimization and sustainability in the industry.

There is therefore the need for value for money in mining operations from exploration

Background

� K-3 Resources West Africa Limited (K-3RWL) was founded in 2012 with

the aim of assisting the mineral and mining, oil & gas industries, man

power and skills training, in addition to infrastructure development of

Ghana

� The company was formed as both a local / offshore consultant to

provide outsourcing of engineers and other industry professionals for

the mining and oil & gas industry in addition to allied institutions.

� The location of our first office is in Ghana with two strategic offices to

be opened in Liberia and Burkina Faso for two reasons:

� Availability of established client base and thriving mining and

petroleum industry

� The high enterprising countries experiencing rapid development

mining industry but has limited supply of qualified industry

professionals

� The clientele base is expected to be sourced and maintained from

public and private institutions / companies as well as individuals

� In addition to supplying clients with industry professionals (the core

Introduction

K-3 Resources West Africa limited is a service provider that aims at bridging gaps

between international potential investment and local possibilities by combining

international expertise and local competence to bring incomparable solutions to

the mining and petroleum industry.

We are an experienced and dynamic consultancy with a solid base of verifiable

experienced and highly skilled mining and geological engineers / geoscientists

who are capable of conducting activities spanning the entire mining process

from geological exploration and resource modeling to mine planning,

construction and infrastructural development and production management, in
