According to the Order’s bylaws, a Grand Knight cannot serve as a Field Agent at the same time. Therefore, I stepped down as Grand Knight of our Council eective February 1 st , and our Deputy Grand Knight, Peter -John Mafnas, took over as our Grand Knight. During my time as Grand Knight, I really enjoyed working with my Brother Knights as we worked in helping others, especially our parishes and communities. The main aspect that I have always enjoyed and made me proud to be your Grand Knight, was the focus of our Catholic and fraternal values in everything that we did. Whether it was helping out at a fish fry, a free throw contest, or a Tootsie Roll drive; that sense of service to others is what makes our Council and organization great. In order to have successful events, regardless if we were working or relaxing, it takes more than just the Grand Knight to make it a success. I want to thank all of you for your help over the past couple of years! Each of you made a dierence at all of our events! There is no way that I could have gotten anything accomplished without your help! The Ocers did a great job in helping run the Council, and I am thankful to have been blessed with having several Past Grand Knights that helped mentor me. Once again, from the bottom of my heart, thank you all for helping me as your Grand Knight! Looking forward, I ask that all of us help support our new Grand Knight, Brother Peter - John, as he takes over our Council. I have no doubt that Brother Peter -John will do an outstanding job as our Grand Knight! Right now we are in the middle of our biggest event of the year, the Fish Fry. We should remember that in providing the Fish Fry meals, we are helping our parishioners in reminding them that Lent is a time of reflection and either sacrificing and/or taking on something meaningful in preparation for Easter. Please come out and support our Worthy Grand Knight and our Council, as we provide the best Fish Fry dinner during this Lenten season! God bless, Bro. Holy Spirit, that we may be blessedin our efforts, to set forth thy glory,in this land under the patronage of

Mary’s Immaculate conception.Let our Fraternity flourish, in justiceand charity, and give eternal praise

and glory to the Holy Trinity.Be mindful of each of our departed bothers,

Fish Fry 2015As this is written, we have already finished up with the first two weeks of this year's Fish Fry. The third will most likely be in the books by the time you read this.So far all is going well, with relatively good patronage, averaging right around 245 per night, which is about what we did last year. We've had quite a few compliments on the food and only two minor complaints that I am aware of, nothing that is alarming for sure. The small price increases we implemented, have not seemed to have raised any eyebrows and the change in the wording of the different dinners, that is

2-piece dinner instead of adult dinner and 3-piece dinner vs super dinner, has been well received with many stating that it is easier to understand and deal with. We've had great support from you, our brothers and family members, with helping out in the many areas needed in addition to the donations of sodas/water/desserts. Remember, these donations allow us to make a better profit when all this is over, which in turn allows us to do more down the road in who to and how much we can donate. Thanks for your help with your time and your donations! Hopefully we continue to have a good turnout and we can finish up ahead of last year.
