German cattle breeding law

Admission prerequisites: 18 years Apprenticeship or course of studies – cattle breeding topics –

part of the exam Completed a comparable apprenticeship + min 6 month

practical experience in farming 6 month internship at an insemination station or four years at a farm with livestock breeding and three month

insemination station

Training to become an insemination representative

Only cattle - 5 weeks Cattle and pigs - 6 weeks

Two training locations in germany:

Dr. Dr. Eible–Training Center for Inseminators in Neustadt a. d. Aisch ( Bavaria )

Institut für Fortpflanzung landw. Nutztiere e. V. (IFN) in Schönow (Berlin) (Instítut for reproduction of agriculture animals)

Advanced training: Certified Insemination Technican Acknowledged Job Represents a career opportunity within the agricutural

sector Comparable to a official master craftsman diploma The diploma can allow access to a university of applied

sciences

Embryo transfer is part of training Flushing Embryos from donor and transfer

Admission prerequisites - final exams of C. I.

Passed exams to become a farmer Received training at a technical school or

comparable educational institution min 1 year + Can verify practical experience as

insemination representative – min. 3 years

If the first two prerequisites are not fulfilled: Additional 6 years practical experience as

insemation representative.
