• VERA is a combined telescope system stretching over 2,300 km in diameter, with 4 radio telescopes.

• One of them is placed In Ishigaki Island in Okinawa.

• VERA contributes to establish another astronomical observatory for

educational purpose

By establishing in Okinawa a graduate university of science and technology that

conducts “Best in the World” quality researches and education, the followings are
