The theoretical hire of a small LNG carrier is:Ethylene market rate + 20% extra for LNG capabilities
So in today’s market:- 8,250 cbms ethylene carrier: USD 525,000
pcm (Nov-2015 12 months hire rate)
- 8,250 cbms LNG carrier should be USD 630,000 pcm
