Yasser Qahawish, Chef/owner of Artisanale is extremely passion-ate about French food and culture. He has trained with top chefs in Toronto, Montreal and at a few Michelin-rated restaurants in France. The focus of our restaurant is an “ingredient-based” menu. We have great respect and appreciation for farmers, and we spend a great deal of time sourcing ingredients which have been sustainably and respon-sibly produced. We are a truly seasonal restaurant and we are proud to feature food products found locally. www.artisanale.ca

Whole Circle Farm is the first of our suppliers that has committed to providing fresh organic food to our restaurant. They have dedicated a portion of their land solely to growing produce from seeds hand-picked by our chef from a heritage seed catalogue. This pilot program is a great example of the partnership that farms and restaurants can maintain. Artisanale’s partnership with Whole Circle Farm serves the community by providing quality locally-produced food. www.wholecirclefarm.ca

Since our brewery opened in 1985, we’ve even insisted that our fine English Ales have to be brewed using English brewing equipment. Ours was built by Hickley of London specifically for Wellington Brewery.
