First, giving honor to our Lord and Savior for his blessing and to you Most Eminent Grand Commander for allowing me to serve you with an executive and professional capacity in the duties that revolved around managing and distributing Templar information. Through you Sir, with your guidance, we were able to provide vehicles of communication such as virtual and telecommunication avenues to the Sir Knights and assist in the managing of information.
This opportunity allowed me to be familiar in knowing the resources, finding the answers by productive and creative problem solving while multitasking other Templar duties. Special thanks to the Eminent Grand Record, Sir Thomas Pierre Williams for always being ready and providing the necessary resources, always for the betterment of the United Grand Commandery.

To: The Most Eminent Grand Commander; The Right Eminent Deputy Grand Commander; The Eminent Grand Generalissimo; Eminent Grand Captain-General; Eminent Grand Senior Warden; Eminent Grand Junior Warden; Past Most Eminent Grand Commanders; Eminent Commanders; Generalissimos; Captain-Generals; Senior Wardens; Junior Wardens; Past Eminent Commanders; and Sir Knights, Greetings To say the "best laid plans of mice and men", is no plan at all. This has been a year of change and great upheaval. We have lost many good Sir Knights throughout Pennsylvania. Many were considered legends. We lost loved ones due to disease, natural causes, and violence. We haven't seen a pandemic like the Covid-19 which has brought this country to its knees, since the great pandemic during the 1920s Spanish Flu. But here we are on the verge of a potential race riot, demanding what we should have rightfully received under the bill of rights. We have "Black Lives Matter" on one hand, and "Make America Great Again", on the other, both sides are trying to push their agenda, as Covid-19, has taken the lives of over 150,000 human-being and many more are dying every day. Covid-19 has changed the way; we go about our daily routines and business. Who would have thought a year ago, our meetings, and the Grand Conclave had to be conducted virtually? I would never guess this in a million years. Because of this deadly pandemic, we had to change our lives, and the way we think, to continue to survive in this environment. This is what sets us above all animals, and that is to adapt and overcome. It has been a struggle, but we have adapted to the ever-changing environment.

The United Grand Commandery
It has been a struggle, but all the Commanderies had supported the efforts of this United Grand Commandery, to take care, of its business, so the Most Eminent Grand Commander and his officers could complete their duties for this United Grand Commandery. I like to thank the following Divisional Commanders for their support, during this trying time:
Lashaun Johnson, Divisional Commander Central & East.
Joseph Ward, Divisional Commander Central & East.
Carlton D. Holman, Divisional Commander East Lee Glover Jr, Divisional Commander Central Murphy J. Keller III, Divisional Commander West The following is a report of each subordinate Commandery: Union Commandery No.1 The Eminent Commander held his meeting presenting the financial reports, to include the audit, to his members by telephonic communication. Each member, who was present on the call had an opportunity to listen to the reports and interject any comments at that time. The treasurer's and recorder's reports were approved and turned over to the audit committee. The elections were held, and all officers retained their assigned positions. There was no dispensation given to Union Commandery No.1 St. George No.2 Due to sickness, and other issues, the Eminent Commander could not hold his scheduled meeting on time, but he was able to hold the meeting and elections, by a special meeting granted to him verbally from the Divisional Commander, and approved by the State Divisional Commander. An election was eventually held via zoom, and the financial reports were received by the Commandery, and reports were audited. St. George has a new Eminent Commander, Sir Robert Ragsdale. St. George No.2 did not receive any dispensations.

The United Grand Commandery
Cyrene No.9 Through the efforts of the Divisional Commander West, Cyrene No.9, had 8 members knighted as sir knights, to booster their numbers, so they could meet. Because, of the outbreak of Covid-19, the Commandery was unable to hold elections, and generate their financial reports. Due to their hard work in bringing up their numbers. The Commandery should be given time to reestablish itself as a functioning Commandery. Cyrene No.9 was not granted any dispensations. Imperial No. 12 There were no financial reports, or audit received from Imperial No. 12. The election sheet and quarterly report was received. Imperial had two dispensations issued, but still owes the United Grand Commandery $4.00 for those dispensations. Mathias F. Emmanuel No. 14 The Eminent Commander had conducted his meeting virtually, where the financial reports, plus the audit reports were approved and accepted. All current officers will remain in place, as such time, elections can be held. There were no dispensations issued to Mathias F. Emanuel No. 14. Gilbert L. Brannon No. 15 The Eminent Commander held his meeting virtually, and the recorder and treasurer read their reports, and was accepted by the sir knights. As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, the audit committee could not review the records of the recorder and treasurer. Since all officers are remaining emplace, the Eminent Commander requested that the audit report be delayed until the pandemic restrictions are lifted. As State Divisional Commander, I had approved his request. Gilbert L. Brannon No. 15 did not have any dispensations. George W. Conyer No. 16 The Eminent Commander held his meeting telephonically with his members to go over their financial reports and approved and received the audit report. All members are retaining their seats until an election can be properly conducted. George W. Conyers No. 16 did not have any dispensations.

Howard Lennon No. 17 The Eminent commander held his meeting telephonically with his members to listen to the financial reports and accepted same. The audit report was approved and received by the sir knights. All officers elected to retain their assign stations. Howard Lennon No. 17 did not have any dispensations. Due to this unprecedented event during this year, no Commandery was rated. Trying to conduct business via mail, telephone, or virtual was taxing on the Commandery and divisional commanders. But we have learned a different way to conduct business during an emergency. I don't believe this will be the last time, we conduct business in this manner. I want to thank the Most Eminent Grand Commander for his faith in appointing me to this position and the support from the Divisional Commanders and the Sir Knights. Yours in Knightly honor,
Calvin L. Johnson Calvin L. Johnson, Sr., #17 State Divisional Commander
