A NEW PALETTE FOR JUNO WINESJuno Wines Cape Maidens are now
being produced under the guidance of Charles Back.
Since Juno was founded in 2005, Tertia du Toits unique and
alluring Cape Maidens labels have attracted consumer interest
and attention. Juno has always sought to ensure that the quality
and style of the wines matched the artistry that adorned
the bottle. This search has brought them into partnership with
Charles Back, a passionate Paarl local whose balance of expe-
rience and innovation aligned perfectly with Junos philosophy.
Backs vineyards, in the prime viticultural regions of the
Cape, now provide the fruit for Junos range and his winemaking
team have produced wines that emphasize the fruit forward
style that Juno has been seeking. Juno has always aimed to offer
wines of exceptional quality and accessibility at an afford-
able price, said the companys MD, Johan du Toit. Charles Backs
network of vineyards and
winemaking expertise has allowed us to find the most suitable
grapes and vineyards with which
to strengthen our range and take the quality of Junos wines to
the level that we feel they should be.

THE FAIREST CAPE
The wines of Juno originate from the Paarl valley; Paarl(meaning
"Pearl" in Dutch) is the third oldest European settle-
ment in South Africa (after Cape Town and Stellenbosch). It

situated about 60 kilometres northeast of Cape Town in the
Boland district, the heart of the Western Cape Province and
