literature from around the world. Each text presentschallenges and asks students to articulate and explore

LEADERSHIP VENTURE

As part of the leadership programme, the student will be required to initiatea project (venture). This venture should make significant changes in theirrespective communities. Students will write a short Project Proposal duringthe programme with the following details:

Dedicated 3-4 days for adventure sports like rafting,zip-lining and trekking, leadership & team buildinggames to help move the participants outside theircomfort zone in a safe environment.

Each student must take on a venture to instill aspirit of volunteerism and active citizenship andinspire them to impact & change their respectivecommunities.

There will be a series of motivational and educa-tional lectures from accomplished people ofdifferent backgrounds.

Students will be asked to read, reflect and participatein discussions on a series of thought provokingreadings around the issues of Leadership: (i) TheChallenge of Leadership; (ii) The Promise ofLeadership; (iii) The Good Society; (iv) The Possibilityof Heroism; and (v) The Meaning of Life.

Community visits will be organized to a children’shome, to sensitize the students to various socialissues, and expose them to an environment wherethere is a scarcity and inequities.

The selected location has spectacular scenic beauty, issafe and creates an inspirational environment for learning.

Care is taken to provide food that is nutritious, wholesome and tasty.The menu has a combination of vegetarian and non-vegetarian items. Fruitsare served regularly and nimbu-paani or other fruit flavoured drinks areavailable through the day to keep the participants hydrated. Mineral wateris available on all sites and locations.

Right from the time your child is handed over to us, they are ourresponsibility. We have a well-trained and certified team; the adult to childratio is 1:5. There are 6 faculty members in addition to administrative staff incamp. A resident nurse is available for the duration of the Camp and aDoctor is available on call.
