To turn any room into a tropical jungle, start by cutting large leaves from green paper and create large flowers from construction paper in pink, purple and red. Tape the leaves and flowers to the walls and windows. You can also cut out additional leaves and glue the ends together to make a leafy streamer. Hang one strand or many from the corners. Use more construction paper or poster board in bright colors to create large butterfly shapes. You can start with a shape like a heart and fold it in the center to make butterfly wings. Either stick these to the walls like the leaves, or use fishing wire to hang them from ceiling hooks to make it look like butterflies are flying around the room!
