    drawing and Painting with Sticks: birds, Trees

    and Other Twiggy Things Artist: Laurie Wigham

    Jun 15–Aug 14 upstairs in the buckeye room

    The lively lines made by sticks dipped in watercolor and ink have a special affinity with bird wings, branches, grasses and many other growing things. Watercolor artist Laurie Wigham explores the possibilities in the wild and in cities.

    Landscapes” bill helsel

    Aug 17–Oct 2 Bay area local artist, bill helsel, with a special interest in black and white infrared photography, cap- tures landscapes that pull the viewer into the hills. Enjoy Bill’s most recent work in this exhibit.

    birds of the Pacific Sep 10–Oct 2

    The beauty, ecology and conservation of Tundra swans of the Pacific Flyway are vividly depicted on this traveling photographic exhibit, The Wonders of Swans a service of the CA Department of Fish and Wildlife. The twenty photographs features the amazing migration of the Sacramento Valley’s largest waterfowl taking place each fall and winter.

    Watercolor prints will also feature Birds of the Pacific Slope by Andrew Jackson Grayson, the Audubon of the West.

    Come celebrate your SPeCIAL dAy at Lindsay Wildlife Experience. You and your guests will meet live animals, learn exciting facts, and explore Lindsay’s exhibit hall. • Maximum number of guests: 25 people (children and adults TOTAL, up to 15 guests may be children) • Parties are offered on Sat & Sun at 11 am or 2 pm, and Wed & Thu afternoons. • Fee: $325 member ($400 non–member) • Additional fees for special requests

    age 2–5 plus adult Let your child guide their own explorations of the natural world, designed for children ages 2–5 to play and learn along with an adult caregiver. Young children explore a variety of age–appropriate craft & activity stations at their own pace. Observe special demonstrations and hands–on presentations with our animal ambassadors. Visit Lindsay Wildlife exhibit hall outside of regular hours! Drop–in program, no pre-registration required.
