Their bright happy faces and their eagerness to come to school to learn everyday makes St Paul s a very special place. We will say our St Paul s morning prayer and acknowledge students birthdays and also any important messages for the day. Afternoon dismissal routine: Class teacher will bring students to their line and will be dismissed when the bell goes at 3:30pm. There will be no 3:20pm bell only the dismissal bell at 3:30pm. Students will say their prayer in the classroom. Preps will be brought out 2-3 mins earlier so parents can collect them from the teachers. If it rains students can be collected from the classroom. There will be an App alert and announcement. Parents are reminded to wait outside until the children are brought to the line this will help with reducing congestion in the corridors. Gates will be open at 3pm.

Dear Parents And Friends Of St Paul’s, What a wonderful vibrant term it has been!!!

Thank You... Parents and volunteers who have contributed in every way to St Paul ’s this term. Parents have helped with lunches, sausage sizzle, parent helpers, fete committee, dinner dance, movie night, uniform, fundraising, Mother’s day, excursions, photographs, and the way all parents have supported our wonderful school by sup-porting these events. Changes To Morning And Afternoon Routines

In the last few weeks I have been observing our routines at the beginning and end of day. I have ob-served that on some days students aren’t leaving until after 3:35pm. I would like to make a change to the morning and afternoon routines. I feel we can have a smoother start to the day and end of the day. Beginning term 3 there will be changes to Morning routines: Students will line up with their class. We will say our St Paul ’s morning prayer and acknowledge students birthdays and also any important messages for the day. Parents are reminded to wait outside until the children are brought to the line

this will help with reducing congestion in the corridors.

Reports were sent home yesterday. Please celebrate the learning achievements with your children. There is a section in the report where children have written a report on themselves, discuss these achievements with your child. We will have parent teacher meetings in term 3. Reports Feedback. In the report envelope I also sent home a feedback letter. I would like families to let us know what you think about our reporting to parents. Please take some time to fill it out and send back to school. Student Absentee Parents please notify the school office regarding children sickness or absence please do not call the parish.

Dinner Dance. We are looking forward to the dinner dance tomorrow evening, I know it will be a night of great fun for everyone. Thanks to Carmel and Bashir Assouni for organising this event.

Wishing all families and staff and very restful and safe holiday

and look forward to seeing everyone on

Parish News CHILDRENS LITURGY OF THE WORD: For children of kindergarten and primary school age has commenced on the

1st & 3rd Sundays of the month at the 9am St Pauls Mass.

What is Children’s Liturgy? Children’s Liturgy is actually the Liturgy of the Word for children. The Gospel is read and ex-

plained at a level that the children can understand and enjoy. Group discussion, prayers, songs and some simple activities

are some ways that enhance the message of the Gospel. When do the children gather for Children’s Liturgy? Fr Ray invites

the children to come forward after the opening prayer and the leaders lead them to the gathering space for the liturgy of the

word; when “The Creed“ is being recited, the children are brought back into the church to join their families.

Parents are welcome to accompany their children. A dedicated team of parish volunteers who have received formal instruc-

tion and material from the Archdiocese will facilitate the program. If you would like to volunteer, please contact Fr. Ray. All

materials and training are provided. Working with children check required.

“See You Sunday 1st July – 9am.”
