Dear Division 27,

Hello! Welcome to another

issue of Toucan Times! :) The

school year is almost over, but

you can still do service! Every-

day can be a day of helping the

community. There are many

service opportunities that you

and your club can do during

the summer. In this issue there

will be some service project ide-

as.

Along with service during the

summer, it is a great time to

visit your Kiwanis clubs.

Throughout the school year, it

may be hard to go to their

meetings because of your sched-

ule but in the summer, you can

always plan ahead and attend

their meetings! They are a great

opportunity to learn more

about what the Kiwanis has

been doing. For more infor-

mation about when and where

their meetings are you can look

at page 8.

I hope everyone has a great

month, summer will be near! I

will see you guys at the June

DCM!

In this issue there is infor-

mation about Key Club, Club

updates, Officer of the month,

service projects and key dates.

Please make sure you read all of

the important information! If

you have any questions, com-

ments, or concerns, feel free to

ask me!

With Love and Service,

making bracelets for ELIMINATE. The bracelets

are blue and white (which are the eliminate

colors) and they are selling them to the stu-

dents at their school to raise money!

tended the Pancake Breakfast where

they met local Kiwanis. They also helped

out at the 7 Hills of Kirkland where there

was 1100 bikers and the event raised a

total of $85,000

Pennies for patients raising $150. They

a community service fair event and on

May 21st, they held this successful event!

They also have been planning for next

year, and had a campus clean up!

I want each Bulletin Editor to write a

blurb about what your club has done

each month (like the ones above)

and they will be put in my monthly

newsletters!. Also I would love to have

pictures from all of the clubs!

Redmond High School volunteered at a

low income housing development. They

cooked and served them dinner. They will

also be helping next week to clean a

street in Redmond, that is partnered with

Kiwanis!

Juanita High School has been plan-

ning a Transition room carnival. They

also made a Key Club sign decorat-

ing it with pictures from service events!
