JOKE NIGHT WAS A REAL CRACK UP!

Norma Saken gave a check to Polly Sauer for S a n B e r n a r d i n o Mountains Land Trust. Norma, Chairperson of Bids & Brunch, told us that banners for the event were p laced in four different locations around town.

As always, Joke Night at Joanie & Marty Lebowitz’s house turned out to be lots of fun! Before the jokes began, President Renee Lewis w e l c o m e d a n d introduced our newest members, Erika & Ron Schwartz-Friedman, and guests; Jo Bonita & Pat Rains, Sue Meeks, Pat Enterrios, Jeanne & Peter Venturini, and G i n n y & H a r v e y Durand. Donation checks were then given out. Ann Weinman gave a check to Jo Bonita Rains for ROW

She also gave us an update on all the great prizes that will be in the live and silent auction. We then took turns telling jokes for almost an hour and it was great! Our thanks to Marty & Joanie for allowing us into their home and for having such a generous variety of treats.

MJC SISTERHOOD VISITS THE PASADENA SHOWCASE HOUSE

Midge, Trudie, Nancy, Laurie, Renee & Illona met on May 4th to take a tour of the beautifully decorated mansion. After the tour, everyone enjoyed lunch & also visited the boutique. Many thanks to Illona Neff, who as a member of the Pasadena Showcase Board was very helpful in planning and arranging everything to go smoothly.
