FIRST RESPONDERS IN ACTION
The Serve DC SYEP Academy o�ers Teen CERT, First Aid/CPR/AED and sponsors �eld visits to the DC Fire and EMS Academy, the MPD Academy, the DC National Guard Hangar, DC Water Testing Labs, the DC Department of Forensic Sciences, and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to expose students to careers, �rst responders and professionals in the �eld.

The Serve DC Summer Youth Emergency Preparedness Academy introduces participants to Emergency Management professions, public safety experts and exciting careers in DC Fire & EMS, MPD, DC National Guard, DC Forensic Sciences, DC Water Testing, DC Department of Health, and U.S. Homeland Security.
