By Debbie Brown Harvest Festival, an initiative organized by Downtown Truro Part-
nership, involved over 40 member businesses is awaiting par-ticipants who enjoy getting out to experience the colors,flavors and ambience of the Fall.
In downtown Truro the festival display features over onehundred and twenty uniquely decorated scarecrows, Down-town shoppers and viewers get to choose and vote for their fa-
vorite scarecrow with a chance to win Downtown Dollars. Tovote visit: www.truroharvest.ca.
Live Music in the Civic Square will be an added festival at-traction on October 9, 18. & 23 from 1:00-3:00 pm.
The Skyler Blackie, Fit To Be A Hero, obstacle race takes placeon October 2nd in Victoria Park from 10am to 2pm. All are wel-come and must register to participate as there are courses de-signed for different level of challenge. For more information
