WELCOME TO OUR NEW NIEGHBORS

Wayne and Liz Albert: 494 Sweetwater Way They will be full time residents of LHE but will head north frequently for family visits. Wayne and Liz were both born and raised on the eastern shore of Maryland where they met 25 years ago and married . Liz retired in December after 35 years working for a independent pharmacy chain with 5 locations and 150 employees starting in the pharmacy operations, progressing to Hu-man Resources and ending as the CEO overseeing the entire operation. She is still working from home a few hours per week. Wayne retired in December from the same company after 20 years of employment there. Wayne is also a lifetime member of the Salisbury Fire Company having served as a volunteer for the depart-ment for 23 years. They do not have any children but are very close to their families which include siblings and nieces and nephews. They bought their first Florida house in Lake Wales, but after a few visits they realized it did not meet their space needs and quickly sold it. While searching the internet for an over 55 community in central Florida, they learned about a house for sale in LHE. Liz’s broth-er came over, met John and Carmen, saw the house, sensed a loving and caring community and optioned the property, even without the future owners seeing it. After arriving in Florida in January and seeing the home, they were very pleased with the home, the neighbor-hood and the surrounding area. They just completed the landscaping of the front of the house which looks real nice and different. They both spent a lot of time camping, boating and salt-water fishing. Liz enjoys spending time at the pool, reading, cooking and having quests over. Wayne enjoys the pool and is looking forward to learning golf and maybe joining a bowling league. They appreciate the wonderful welcoming atmosphere of the community and look forward to many years of being involved at LHE. Submitted by: Luis and Carmen Rivas

Fabian and Suleyma Caldera 420 Harbourview

Fabian is a naval/mechanical engineer and Suleyma’s background is in the tourism industry. They are citizens of Venezuela, and Fabian worked in Caracas in the petroleum industry, until the local government took over the petroleum business and life started to get rough in the country. In 2016 they took the decision to emigrate to the United States and start all over again. With the help of some friends, they have lived in Pom-pano, Kissimmee, Davenport until finding the house of their future in LHE. They brought with them their two girls, 28 and 23, presently living in Kissimmee and Poinciana respectively and a son 24, living in Atlanta. Their parents are still living in Venezuela. Fabian works for AGS, a company in the tickets machines industry in Kissimmee while Suleyma works for a packing company in Apopka. Concurrent with his naval background, they like aquat-ic sports and also bowling. Fabian is a baseball fan, likes BBQ and cooking and wants to start golfing. Suleyma considers herself a hands on person and she likes dancing, gardening and manual crafts. Please join us in welcoming Fabian and Suleyma, possible the youngest members of our community.
