July 2017
1. Organized an Organ Donation Drive
The Rotaract Club of DTU spent the day of 2nd July 2017 at Ambience Mall Gurugram to change someone's life for the better, by motivating people to sign a form pledging to donate their organs and sensitizing them on this tabooed issue.
August 2017:
1. Conducted an Anti-Depression Drive
Mental illness and depression is not uncommon, yet there is a stigma around it that prevents a lot of people from talking about it — and that's a barrier to getting help. Throughout August ’17, the Rotaract Club of DTU organised a campaign to get the conversation around depression started. We urged people to talk about their experiences, to let out their pent up emotions, as well as making others realise that they’re not alone. We also talked about the Project Semicolon, a popular social media movement started in 2013 by Amy Bleuel.
September 2017:
1. Organized a Thalassaemia Awareness Campaign
The Rotaract Club of DTU conducted an online Thalassemia awareness campaign to shed some light on what Thalassemia is, its causes, symptoms and prevention. Since its only cure is blood transfusion, the Club urged people to donate blood.
2. Organized an International Youth Exchange Program with the Rotaract Club of East West University - RCEWU, Dhaka
The Rotaract Club of DTU organised an International Youth Exchange Program with the Rotaract Club of East West University - RCEWU, Dhaka, on 6th September. The exchange involved fruitful discussion on the various activities of both the clubs over lunch and visits to iconic monuments and locations of Delhi. The exchange proved to be extremely successful and helped to build relationships with the international community of Rotaractors.
October 2017:
1. Organized the Diwali Mela
The Rotaract Club of DTU organised the Diwali Mela on Tuesday, 10 October 2017. There were several games, such as Tug of War, Mini Militia Championship, and Cup Shup to name a few. There was also lantern-lighting and a rangoli making competition. All the earnings of the day were donated to Oxfam India for flood relief operations in the North East, in the hopes of bringing some Diwali cheer in the lives of those uprooted by the tragedy.
2. Conducted a Workshop at Prayas Juvenile Aid Centre
A workshop was conducted by Art of Living at Prayas Juvenile Aid Centre in association with the Rotaract Club of DTU from 5th to 8th October 2017. The children were taught yoga and meditation to help improve their lifestyle. They were imparted with several important life lessons, and told of ways to better their living conditions. The children enjoyed dance and music performances, with a few Rotaractors performing for them as well! Overall it was a productive workshop, and the children gained a lot of valuable knowledge.
November 2017:
1. Organized a Cloth Donation Drive
The Rotaract Club of DTU in association with We Clothe Them conducted a cloth donation drive in college from 1-3 November 2017. We Clothe Them are young change-makers who are doing their tiny bit to empower the less privileged by the simple concept of redirecting clothes from where they are in excess and no longer in use to where they are actually needed. The drive was an immense success, with a collection of around 15 bags. It is hoped that this effort from our part will motivate people to contribute to this cause and provide the needy with this basic comfort.
January 2018:
1. Organized Blood Donation Camp
On 29th January, a blood-donation camp was organized in the Convocation Hall. Several students attended it. The blood-donation camp was successful in raising over a hundred units of blood.

The Rotaract Club of DTU Regency had hosted Rotaract Global Model United Nations Special Edition 2018 at Delhi Technological University from 20-22 April. It was an MUN Conference at an international scale, and was held for the first time in South East Asia. In the past, it has been held in the likes of the United Nations Headquarters in New York City, alongwith Romania, London, Belgrade, Bulgaria, and Lithuania. It was an enormous success, and won RaCDTU accolades at several platforms.
