Celebration of the Diamond Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II
June 2012
Welcome to all visitors, especially those from Plessala, our twin village in Brittany. Red, white and blue flowers in baskets, tubs or gardens would give the village a festive look. Flags and bunting too! There are many events around the village. The High Street will be closed for the Soap Box Derby on Monday morning, June 4th. If you normally park there please would you be kind enough to move your car/s—inconvenient but prudent!
Programme of Events Friday June 1st Bisley Bluecoat School - Oakridge School will be joining Bisley for a Jubilee Party with a dress theme of the last six decades. They will share a buffet lunch and enjoy fun and activities including a Punch and Judy Show and traditional games such as hoop-la and a tug-of-war.
