WHO IS YOUR ROLE MODEL?I was taught to be a leader, so I am a role model to myself. But beside myself, I look up to Mr. Quinn, my dad, and my friend Neftaly Vasquez who motivated and pushed me all through high school.

UPWARD BOUNDSUMMER CULTURAL TRIPOur year end cultural trip is our participants reward for all of the hard work they have put into strengthening their
academic and study skills. The trip is a way for the Upward Bound students to experience new opportunities and it
is one of the hallmarks of the Upward Bound program. This year the student will travel to Nashville, Tennessee. In
three (3) days the students will take part in some of the most interesting locations such as:
Fisk University
Belmont University
Andrew Jackson Hermitage Plantation (home of the 7th President, Andrew Jackson)
Grand Ole Opry Museum
Chaffin Barn Mystery Theater and Dinner
Nashville city tour
VACATION CHECK LIST ___Blanket and pillow for the bus ride. It will be cold on the bus with the air
conditioning running.
