    Song Of Preparation

    The Churchs One Foundation

The Churchs one foundation Is Jesus Christ her Lord She is His new creation By water and the Word

From heaven He came and sought her To be His holy bride

With His own blood He bought her And for her life He died

Elect from every nation Yet one oer all the earth Her charter of salvation

One Lord one faith, one birth One holy Name she blesses

Partakes one holy food And to one hope she presses

    With every grace endued

The Church shall never perish Her dear Lord to defend

To guide, sustain and cherish Is with her to the end

Though there be those that hate her And false sons in her pale

Against a foe or traitor She ever shall prevail

Mid toil and tribulation And tumult of her war

She waits the consummation Of peace forevermore

Til, with the vision glorious Her longing eyes are blessed

And the great church victorious Shall be the church at rest

Yet she on earth hath union With God the Three in One

And mystic sweet communion With those whose rest is won

O happy ones and holy Lord, give us grace that we

Like them, the meek and lowly On high may dwell with Thee

  • Our Confession Of Faith

    ~ Philippians 2:5-11 ~

Leader: Let us confess our faith together

Unison: We believe in our hearts and confess with our lips that Christ Jesus, being in very nature God did not consider equality with God something to be grasped but made Himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.

And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to death even death on a cross!

Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Amen.

    The Benediction

    ~ Hebrews 13:20-21 ~

Leader: Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great Shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, equip you with everything good that you may do His will, working in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever.

    Unison: Amen!
