The two zodiac signs for the month of July are: Cancer and Leo. The birthstone for the month of July is the Ruby, which is considered the king of all gems. The Ruby represents love and folklore says it brings good luck. The Ruby also is the most valuable gem. The flower for the month of July is the Larkspur. July’s fruit of the month is the watermelon. Watermelons are very good for you, rich in potassium and contain significant levels of vitamins, such as: Vitman A, B6 and C. The Back to the 50’s event was a blast! Residents, staff, families and friends enjoyed the day with some tasty burgers, fries and Coke Floats. Followed up with a staff hula hoop competition and residents and visitors competed for prizes in the trivia challenge. There were also some pretty fierce squirt gun wars.
