In an effort to make the calendar more “customer/reader-friendly,” we are no longer listing the adult classes in sections like “daytime,” “healthy,” “hands-on” or “demonstration.” Instead to make it easier to read and find the classes you may be interested in, classes are now listed in chronological order by date and we are using a key to denote the type of class it is. Since the majority of our classes are offered in the evening as demonstration-type, those are listed with no notation. The other classes offered are now denoted by the following key:

♥ Discover Your Health class

Daytime Class

Hands-On Class

You may notice that some classes have more than one key; such as a healthy class that is hands-on would have a ♥ .

We hope this makes the brochure easier to read. As always, your feedback is always welcomed!

Message from the Manager Here we are with another hot summer on the horizon. We don’t take a summer vacation away from our customers at the Cooking School — rather, we’re here for you more than ever! To help you with your children while they are out of school, we are offering many options for our enjoyable, educational Summer Cooking Camps. Don’t let them fritter away their summer when they can come here and learn how to cook. For adults, we are offering a new variety of classes that focus on cooking for the warmer weather. This means getting some new ideas on how to make meals that keep the kitchen cool and allow you to spend as much time outside in the nice weather as possible. Then the class offerings move into September and the cooler fall weather. Now cooking moves back into the kitchen and focuses more on quick meals as family life gets busier. It also means more comfort meals to warm your stomachs. If you are looking for a pleasant way to enjoy an evening out with your spouse, parent, sibling or friend, the Cooking School at Tops offers quality, inexpensive classes that allow you to experience cooking the way YOU like to learn; hands-on or demonstration. We have amiable, knowledgeable chefs and instructors who make fantastic presentations on subjects YOU want to know about. We even offer wine or beer at many classes to enhance YOUR culinary experience! The bottom line is that all of us here at the Cooking School are here to create an entertaining encounter for YOU; our customer! Come to class and let us do just that!

NEW! adult classes listings

The biggest thing we have to offer this Summer are our 10 different weeks of Cooking Camps! We have 3 different camps for Little Chefs, 4 different camps for Junior Chefs and 3 different camps for Aspiring Chefs. Let your kids come and see how fun cooking can be. They’ll learn lifelong skills without even realizing that they are learning something. On top of this, we are still offering our regular kids’ classes twice a month on Friday evenings and Saturday mornings. Our Pre-School series goes on hiatus for the summer but starts up again in September. SO much going on, only a few short weeks to enjoy it! Bring the kids over for a cool time inside even with the heat outside.
