Welcome to Redeemer Lutheran!
We are a diverse community of people alwayslearning what it means to live a life of
discipleship. We are Lutheran (ELCA); we areRepublican, Democrat, and Independent; we live
across the street, around the corner, in the Hartford area, and in the nearby countryside. We
work in schools, factories, offices, fields, and hospitals. We are laborers, students, retired, and
unemployed. We range in age from the newly born to seniors. We come from backgrounds of
Catholic and Protestant while some arediscovering church for the first time.
We come together with our joys and sorrows, our faith, and our doubts. When we worship together, sing together, study the Bible together, fellowship
together – we love and support one another to become one body of Christ.
No matter who you are, no matterwhere you are on life’s journey…
You are Welcome Here!

Seeds of Ministry
Today's Psalm 123 has been described by a notable theologian “one of the loveliest
prayers in all of Scripture, simple and direct, trusting and confident, spoken out of need
and in much hope.” It captures as well as any psalm the essence of piety the Psalter
identifies with the righteous, and it calls on God for mercy and grace acknowledging the
primary identity of the God in the Psalms and in the Old Testament. He has the same
identity for us today.
