“Unprecedented” FAQs I returned my stuff on time, so why does my account still show that it’s checked out to me—and *gasp* overdue? When items are returned, we put them directly into quarantine for three days before discharging them. You will not be charged overdue fines (even if your account says something is overdue). I’ve read every book CPLD owns. When will inter-library loan be available again? It’s available now! Please allow 2-3 weeks for your requested items to come in, due to quarantine periods. Other area libraries are opening their buildings—why not Chillicothe? This is a decision made by the library board of trustees and director, and their priority is the health and safety of our community. We’re going to play it safe a little longer, with hopes of gradually reopening later this summer. Meanwhile, we’ve expanded our curbside hours to better serve you during this time. Will AARP return to do tax help there? Not this year. However, AARP has made free software available for doing your taxes online, and in-person help may be available on a limited basis. For more information, call AARP at 1-888-227-7669 or visit signup.aarpfoundation.org. Can I copy/FAX/print something? Yes! We can take care of your copying and faxing jobs through our drive-up window. You can also send print jobs remotely from your phone or home computer—learn how at chillipld.org.
