Dear Parents,

With a twinkling of an eye, we are already in the middle of the year. The schools are closed but we

still remain open to help ease your busy schedules. Winter is still upon us and we urge all parents to

continue keeping our little ones and themselves both safe and warm.

PYJAMA DAY……

Like all the previous winter seasons, our ever popular pyjama day held every Thursday has

commenced. This is a day put apart for the little ones to relax and eat pop corn while watching their

favorite cartoons. Pyjama day ends on the 27th of July 2017.

BIRTHDAY S

We seem to be having a few challenges in the area of birthday parties and the party packs. As agreed

during the parents meeting held in March, we (Parents and school agreed that) For health purposes

(i.e children that may be allergic to certain foods kindly prepare the following for your children’s

party packs: PLAIN CUP CAKES OR CAKES in place of any CREAMED CAKE or CUPCAKE (no colorants

and icing sugars or creamed cakes allowed),1 lollipop, 1 Niknack packet and a 100% juice.

Party times are 10h00 am or 14h00pm

We have had a lot of challenges with both our new and old suppliers but have now managed to sort

it out. Kindly inquire from reception for your little one’s size of uniform and choice of accessory

Due to numerous enquiries from parents we would like to inform you that we will be

offering Holiday classes for children that have no one to stay with during the school holidays

from grade 1-3 and Saturday babysitting services for ages 0 - 9. Please note that this service

will only be put in effect once a certain number of children are reached.

HOLIDAY CLASSES: Time from 7am-3:30pm (from grade 1-3) R 110 a day

BABY SITTING (Saturdays): time from 7am-3:30 pm (from grade 1-4) R 130 a day

Due to the postponed mother’s day event that was meant to take place on the 13th of May, The 12TH

of August 2017, (12.08.2017) has been reserved to celebrate the combination of events. We will be

combining our postponed Mothers day, father’s day and comedy night in as one. This day’s event

CONCERT DVDS 2016

You can now Place your orders for the 2016 concert DVD’S through the school reception.

NOTE THAT THEY TAKE +- 3-4 DAYS ONCE ORDERED

Parents kindly remember the following for our little ones:

Label all your child’s belongings

Always put extra changing clothes in the bag

School knocks off at 17:30, a penalty fee of R30 is payable after every 5 minutes from 17:30.

Make sure the school is informed of your child’s allergies or any special needs.

School gates are open for drop off at 06:30am

Birthday party times are 10:00 am or 14:00 pm.

If there are any changes with fetching of your little one kindly

inform the school who will be fetching your little one from

school in ample time.

EXTRA MURAL ACTIVITIES

Ballet- (2years and above )This activity is currently running with great enthusiasm from

both the instructor and little ones, parents that are interested in signing up their little ones

are still welcome, forms are available at the front office. Please note that this activity is

not compulsory.

Swimming Lessons-Compulsory

Swimming-our swimming pool is ready to be used, however because the weather does not

favor us, our lessons will only be available in summer (September) . More detailed

information will be sent to each and every one within the shortest possible time. This

activity is compulsory and free of charge. Registration is now open and priority will be

given to parents whose children are not registered at our nursery school but belong to the

same family. Swimming hours will be from 10:00-13:00hrs(for our NKC children) and from

14:00-17:00 ( for siblings &family)

Registration forms can be obtained from the reception.

Please note that socce and volleyball are private and each child is allowed to pick one of

any activity, These activities require a R100 FEE attached to them that MUST be included in

the school fees.

SPORTS REGISTRATION FORMS

Parents, we are still waiting for most of the sports registration forms to be returned, this will

enable the children to begin playing their desired sports.

SCHOOLS FEES

We are experiencing late or no payments at all and ask that parents kindly update there

records with the office.

PARENTS, PLEASE NOTE THAT THE SCHOOL FEES ARE PAYABLE IN ADVANCE BY THE 1ST OF

EACH MONTH CHILDREN WITH UNPAID FEES WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO ATTEND CLASS AS

OF THE 2ND,ALL UNPAID ACCOUNTS WILL BE HANDED OVER FOR COLLECTION ON THE 7TH.

Use your child’s first and second name as reference for your payment.

To the Parents that registered for the sports, kindly insure that the R100 is included in the

fees every month

Late payment after 2nd will pay penalty fee of R100.
