I’ve been having a good summer. I’ve traveled to Oregon for a Shoemaker’s

Gathering, spent a few days on the lake with a childhood friend, and watched

thunderstorms from my front porch. Here’s a photograph of me enjoying summertime.

Shevaun Williams, really did a great job.

The client who commissioned this pair of boots is originally from Austria; it’s the Austrian coat of arms.

This is the design I’m currently making; it’s difficult enough that I’ve stopped everything else

and am concentrating solely on it. I can’t be happy until I know I’ve done it successfully.
