Changes are coming...PEPP is making some changes to the investment options available to members. In mid-July members will be encouraged to review their current investment instructions and make a conscious investment choice.
Informed members make better choices!With more and more members getting involved and making investment decisions regarding their Plan, it is important that they understand the changes being made. Several one-hour presentations are being offered throughout the province from mid-August thru mid-October. These are designed to provide information on plan improvements and how these changes may impact members.
Employees who attend will learn about:
• a new Bond Fund available July 1 and a new Money Market Fund available October 31, 2014;
• the closure of the Short-term Bond Fund on October 31, 2014; • the change to PEPP’s default fund;• the options available to them and have a better understainding of their pension
plan in general; and• minor changes to PEPP’s fund line-up that will increase diversification, improve
returns and decrease volatility.
How YOU can help. Support and encourage your employees to attend. Notification of presentations will be sent to members in mid-July. Sessions are scheduled to accommodate different work schedules and will be held at various locations throughout Saskatchewan.
Display the attached poster in coffee areas, on bulletin boards or intranet sites, or email it directly to your staff. If you don’t have a colour printer, or would like colour copies sent to you, please email PEPP’s customer focus coordinator with the quantity needed and your address and we will send you a supply. A customized poster can be created for your workplace if you plan to host a presentation.
