Searching for a new home can be a complicated process, often times, countless hours are spent searching online, compiling lists, printing and organizing information on di�erent homes. This process can be overwhelming and at some pointsit can also be very frustrating. Our goal is to help simplify this process for you. Our magazine casts a broad net and provides a good sampling of the new homes available in the greater Triangle area. The homes are categorized into di�erent geographic sections and they are arranged from the least expensive to the most expensive within each of the sections. This makes it easy to see comparable homes and identify the ones that meet your criteria. It is easy to compare many di�erent things such geographic area, individual home characteristics, prices, location and neighborhood amenities. Often times, you’ll �nd a home that you may have overlooked in your other search e�orts. After �nding a home in our magazine, getting additional information from the onsite agents and builder websites are great resources that should be utilized.

Heritage Sells 100th Home in 2012

(Raleigh, NC, May 31, 2012) — On May 11th, Heritage celebrated selling its 100th home this year. Only three times in the community’s 11-year history have they sold 100 homes this early in the year.

As of May 31, 2012, 113 homes have been sold this year, 15% above goal. Homes sold at an average of 99% of list price. The community has averaged 21 sales per month for the past 18 months.

HBA Brings Some CARE to the Sassafras All

Children’s Playground Project

Raleigh, N.C. (June 29, 2012) – The Coun-cil for Ageless Residential Environments (CARE) Council of the Home Builders As-sociation of Raleigh-Wake County (HBA) donated $1,000 to Sassafras All Children’s Playground.

“The CARE Council selected an organiza-tion within our community that is provid-ing space for children with special needs,” said Lewis Sadler, owner of Sadler Con-struction and founder/chair of the CARE Council. “We felt a connection to this playground since it requires universal de-sign – or accessible design - which is what members of our Council specialize in.”

The CARE Council is a primary resource for ageless design in home construction for building industry professionals and the general public. The council is comprised of members from the HBA who special-ize in universal design, construction, and remodeling.

Sassafras All Children’s Playground, lo-cated at the corner of Glen Eden Drive and Edwards Mill Road, was created in 1991 by community volunteers at Laurel Hills Park to provide a playground that gives kids, no matter what their abilities, the chance to play. Over the years, due to evolving codes and safety requirements, the park needed to be reconstructed. The new park will have more facilities and al-low for the integration of programs and on-site recreation.
