Help our priests to be strong in their vocation. Set their souls on fire with love for your people.

Grant them the wisdom, understanding, and strength they need to follow in the footsteps of Jesus. Inspire them with the vision of your Kingdom.

Give them the words they need to spread the Gospel. Allow them to experience joy in their ministry.

Help them to become instruments of your divine grace. We ask this through Jesus Christ,

who lives and reigns as our Eternal Priest. Amen.

FAITH FORMATION

Please Welcome Claire to our Faith Ministry Team!

I was born and raised in Neenah, WI. I graduated from Marian University, spring of 2019, with a bachelor's degree in Psychology,

and minors in Religious Education, Expressive and Therapeutic Arts, and Theology. After college I spent a year as missionary on SPIRITUS Team 11, where I was a Youth Ministry intern at Sacred Heart. I enjoy cooking, baking, spending time with friends and family and being in the presence of our Lord. I am thrilled to be on the Family Ministry Team for both Sacred Heart and St. Bernadette parishes.

Thanks to all the people listed below who provided food for the Warming Shelter on June 28th or helped cook &

deliver the food. We had plenty of food which was greatly appreciated and looked delicious. Our next date will be

Friday September 25th, so mark your calendar and watch the bulletin & website for more info.

Thanks again, Paul & Sharon Bauer

Bev Garrity, Maura Seidl, Gloria Erickson, Ruth Schmelzer, Renee Manders,Tim Woods,

Karen Jahner, Bonnie Meacham, Judy DeYoung, Joann Smolcich, Sue Erickson, Dottie Borowski,

Mary Beth Nienhaus, Janice Williams, Pat Jankowski, Lil Huebner, Tom Champeau and Craig Rueden.

Your thoughtfulness is greatly appreciated by many.

Welcome to July! Turning the calendar to a new month often times bring about changes. Back to school sales begin, we think about the dog days of sum-mer and we look forward to

the warmest of days as the temperature rises. For me personally July brings about one of the biggest changes for me since I began working for Sacred Heart in 2000. As of July 1, I have completed my role as the Faith Formation Coordinator. Gina Holt will now coordinate a joint program for Sacred Heart and St. Bernadette. I will be focusing all my time expanding the Care Ministry program here at the parish. I will have set hours in the office on Thursdays. I will also be in on various days as needed for pastoral care. I am so looking forward to be able to visit our parishioners and bring them Holy Communion once again. It is one of my greatest joys.

Look for continued updates on what is going on within the Care Ministry. If you have thoughts and ideas I’d love to hear them. Feel free to stop by and visit. You can also call or email me as well.

Readings for the Week

Baby update... At 25 weeks pregnant our baby`s brain, lungs, and digestive systems are formed but not fully developed. Babies are weighing on average just over 1 and 1/2 lbs. Their heartbeats are around 140

beats per minute. At this time Moms may be screened for gestational diabetes. Also, Moms may experience tiny baby movements called "flutters". Hang in there and keep praying for our babies and the parents for

good and healthy pregnancies!
