Leader: To whom will you compare Me that I should be like him? says the Holy One.

Unison: He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is un search- able. He gives power to the faint and to him who has no might he increases strength.

Leader: Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted

Unison: but they who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not be faint.

Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

Presentation Of Offerings Song Of Preparation

    In Christ Alone

In Christ alone my hope is found He is my light, my strength, my song This cornerstone, this solid ground

Firm through the fiercest Drought and storm

What heights of love What depths of peace When fears are stilled When strivings cease

My comforter, my All in all Here in the love of Christ I stand

In Christ alone who took on flesh Fullness of God in helpless babe

This gift of love and righteousness Scorned by the ones He came to save

Til on that cross as Jesus died The wrath of God was satisfied For every sin on Him was laid

Here in the death of Christ I live

There in the ground His body lay Light of the world by darkness slain Then bursting forth in glorious day Up from the grave He rose again

And as He stands in victory Sins curse has lost its grip on me

For I am His and He is mine Bought with the precious blood of Christ

No guilt in life, no fear in death This is the power of Christ in me

From lifes first cry, to final breath Jesus commands my destiny

No power of hell, no scheme of man Can ever pluck me from His hand Til he returns or calls me home

Here in the power of Christ Ill stand

Silent as He stood accused Beaten, mocked, and scorned Bowing to the Father's willHe took a crown of thorns

chorus Oh, that rugged cross, my salvation

Where Your love poured out over me Now my soul cries out, hallelujah

    Praise and honour unto Thee

Sent of heaven, God's own Son To purchase and redeem

And reconcile the very ones Who nailed Him to that tree

    (repeat chorus)

    bridgeNow, my debt is paid

It is paid in full By the precious blood That my Jesus spilled Now, the curse of sin Has no hold on me

    Our Confession Of Faith ~ based on Romans 8:1, 29, 38-39 ~

Leader: Let us together profess our faith by saying

Unison: We believe there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus; for we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to Gods purpose.

We are convinced that neither life, nor death, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things

present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen.

    The Benediction ~ 2 Thessalonians 3:16 ~

Leader: Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with you all.

    Unison: Amen!

Join us this summer as we take a look at relationships through the lens of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We'll answer questions like What are relationships for? Why do relationships get wrecked? Is marriage really a smart choice in our modern world? How are we to understand our sexuality? Is there any hope for my sense of relational brokenness? How do I view my singleness? Isn't divorce the easy way out? Is there a wise way to think about family?

Each week there will be a time of Q & A right after the sermon. Pastor John will also be available in the boardroom after the service for further discussion, questions & prayer.
