    Pastor Jake will be on holidays from July 20 until July 26. We wish him and his family a relaxing and refreshing break during this time!

    ANNOUNCEMENTS:

    LIBRARY NEWS: Several books will be highlighted throughout the year that have not been taken out too often and lost in the shelves. Possession by Rene Gutteridge is a suspenseful novel. Detective Vance is burned out on life and love. Hoping to save his marriage, he quits the force and moves to the other side of the country. However, the movers decide to hold his belongings for ransom. Will he lose everything to their demands?

    SOCCER CAMP 4 CHRIST wrapped up on Friday. Thank you for your prayers for a successful week of outreach opportunities, good weather and great fun. God blessed the players and the leadership team with an amazing week!

    FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION: The Muang family has been invited to participate in leading worship at a national meeting for the Chin (Zomi) tribe, in Toronto on August 1st. Someone from the gathering will bring them back to Chatham when it is over, but they need some people to bring them to Toronto on July 30 or 31. Is there anyone that is willing to drive them there? Please contact Alice VanStempvoort at 519-436-0775 as soon as possible. Thanks.

    NEIGHBOURLINK is looking for volunteers to help with the building of a wheelchair ramp at the Refuge centre (Right to Life). Five people are needed for August 14 from 1 pm 5 pm and 12 volunteers are required for August 15 from 8 am to 5 pm or until project is completed. If you are able to devote some time for this project please contact Myrna Panjer or Wilma Noordam. Interested in becoming a NeighbourLink volunteer give Myrna a call.

  • LORDS SUPPER: As a congregation, we are invited to celebrate Lords Supper monthly, alternating between Morning Worship Services and Combined Evening Worship Services. Lords Supper typically occurs on the 3rd Sunday of the month. This sacrament is scheduled for the Combined Evening Worship service TONIGHT.

    YOUTH MINISTRIES

    JUNIOR YOUTH:

    JUNIOR YOUTH: All those entering Grade 6-8 this September, and those who just graduated from grade 8, are invited to a campfire at Pastor Jake's home on Tuesday, August 11 from 7-9pm. Bring a lawn chair.

    YOUTH:

    KURIOS RETREAT: This weekend retreat is for all youth in Classis Chatham entering grade 9-12. This event will replace our youth group annual Fall Camping trip, so please be sure to sign up! The retreat is held at Camp Kintail just north of Goderich, ON, on Lake Huron from October 2-4. Check out the details at www.kuriosretreat.com. The early bird rate (sign up before August 1) is only $115. But we really want you there, so the youth budget will cover the first $95 of your registration!

    YOUNG ADULTS

    YOUNG ADULTS/COLLEGE AND UNIVERSITY STUDENTS: We meet at Pastor Jake's on Wednesday, July 29, at 8pm. If you are back from University/College for the summer and haven't been to a young adults evening please come and join us.
