SoPines UMC is beginning its first-ever GriefShare group led by new members Bill & Doris Russell, who have experience leading this group. While it is ideal to attend all 13 sessions, the meetings are "open meetings," meaning a person can begin attending at any time. Members will find comfort, answers, and hope in each session. STOCK DONATIONS We are grateful for all contributions to SPUMC and its

missions. If you care to make a stock donation to

the church, we ask that you call Laura Parker (910-246-

0835) ([email protected]) at First Bank Wealth

Management. She will assist you with the stock transfer. The

stock will then be sold immediately, and the funds

will be deposited into our SPUMC account with First

Bank. You will receive a donation letter from the church

within the next two weeks documenting the transaction.

All stock transfers will go toward the Operating Fund of the

church unless the church is otherwise notified in writing.

[email protected] .

Thank you, SPUMC Finance Office

Giving Made Easy

Electronic gifts are fast and secure. Give anytime, anywhere to your favorite funds.

Schedule donations or set up an account and make donations whenever you'd like throughout the year.

Go to the SPUMC website: www.southernpinesumc.org and click “Give” at the top of the page to get started.

If you have any questions, please contact Jean Bradshaw at: [email protected]

TEXT YOUR OFFERING: 910-390-1703 (These donations will go to the operating budget.)

THANK YOU!

We will be collecting financial contributions (July 4—Aug 1) for 30 At Risk/Homeless High School students. Please mark “School Supplies” on memo line. We will not be collecting supplies for Southern Pines Elementary School. SPES does not “have a need for school supplies at this time.”

SPUMC will not be collecting contributions for the Fans for Families ministry mission this year.

Due to moratoriums and energy assistant programs, only 40 of 120 fans we donated were distributed through the Coalition last year. With this surplus, there does not seem to be a need at this time.

We thank everyone for their generous support of this ministry.
