Multi-functional centrally located com-plex in Moscow. The aim of the project was to maximize actual living space. We used rectangular ground plan in area borders to achieve that. Based on isolation research we have prepared several models as pre-sented on the next page to make sure that neighboring houses would have enough sun after the construction would be finished. After closer considerations of the models we were able to choose a suitable form of the building. So, we de-cided in favor of two concept versions: Cristal and Sponge.

Hotel «Ukraine» – is one of seven Stalin skyscrapers, that building started just after World War II. These monumental buildings, situated in the most important parts of the city from town-planning point of view, were to become new symbols of the city that would clearly distinguish historical part of the city.
Architect Mordvinov planned Central part of the building that includes 34 floors. Hotel «Ukraine» with total height of 198 meters was announced in 1957 the biggest hotel in Europe.

The church was build in 1890 as one of the biggest in Moscow. Nowadays it be-comes almost a ruin; the bell tower and the cupola were destroyed in 1917. We started the reconstruction of the building with archive photos, as no other mate-rials were available. According to per-spectives (one of examples is presented below) we were able to prepare all draw-ings.

reCONstrUCtION hOteL «CeNtrALNAyA»
Hotel «Centralnaya» was build in 1891. It was very famous place in old historical part of Moscow. One of the most expen-sive restaurants, and the best bakery in the town were situated there. After the revolution the building have been rebuilt (two more floors were built-on) and soon it became an apartment house for for-eign revolution leaders. Nowadays the government decided to reconstruct it again (to remain initial pre-revolutionary outlook) in order to have one more mod-ern hotel not far away from Kremlin.

The town should always be alive that is why I have created this Multifunctional complex that could be used 24/7.
Master plan of projected area of more than 16,2 hectares consists of 3 blocks. This complex represents multifunctional urban area, compounded from building, living and leisure areas, which are con-nected with each other by green zones.

Research of surrounding territory formed a base for functional scheme of the proj-ect. I have prepared a model of the pro-jected area to check light dispersion of the territory. Areas that have more light supposed to become housing and those with a lack of light – offices and admin-istration buildings. To increase insulation in courtyard the building were rotated and were vertically declined.

Comprehensive school is a school for kids from 6 to 18 years, (that has a few milestones while preparing a school-project). Kids should have an hour sleep after lunch, a walk outdoors and a possibility to prepare their homework together with a tutor, while senior pupils spend more time on self-education and join leisure time.
All of them are situated in one building, that arise a problem of traffic separa-tion between junior, middle and senior pupils. That is why two separate wings and one central bulk were constructed. Kids are settled in the left wing, where courtyard, bedrooms, playing-rooms, classrooms and recreations are situ-ated. Senior classes were placed in the right part of the building, where class-rooms, laboratories, libraries, assembly hall, swimming-pool and a big atrium were designed.

Constructing a garage, I was thinking about a contrast between natural (nature) and artificial (machine) environment. We are surrounded by different engines. Nowadays huge and complex buildings are being built to store and serve differ-ent types of cars. How great it would be to combine these two contradictions, i.e. nature and engines. The answer was found in one project of ‘Garage-Leaf’ construction. Cars flow through ribs like nectar feeding a plant. Cars are hidden in maple leaf – as if machines are ab-sorbed by nature.

Industrial Park is a new form of territory in-tegration of science, education and pro-duction buildings. The project provides construction of manufacturing buildings and infrastructure development. Indus-trial park – is a city in a city, sustainable urban formation. Young scientists live and work there. Core of the building is a square 7-meters floor. Equipment can be placed in any part of the building based on construction peculiarities that gives more opportunities for renters.

Project of Airport construction in Ge-lendjik city – is a part of one big transport nodal point, wich consists of the airport, the realway station and seaport. Pro-totype of this airport project was a bird wing. Complicated building contour has a lot in common with surrounding hills.
The main target of this project was findind a solution how to put the long-length building on indented landscape. Technological decisions were focused on optimization of all passenger`s traffic and convenience of their servicing.

FestIVAL «gOrOdA»
The idea to start up an International Ar-chitectural Festival «Goroda» («Towns») in Moscow appeared 5 years ago. Since that time twice a year, in winter and sum-mer, young architects gather to build their «own Town» in most incredible parts of our country, like The Baikal lake, The Altai Mountains, Kargopol town, Zurbagan Island. Their main target is to build architectural projects and objects of land-art by hands.
The festival is not only about construc-tions and buildings. It means much more to me. I think it is a great opportunity to meet all my friends and colleagues at one place, to try myself in wild environ-ment and to have possibility of self-real-ization. Moreover, «Goroda» is incredibly big adventure.
