The RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) is the process for those interested in learning about the Catholic faith come together on a weekly basis to learn about the scriptures and the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church.

The process is designed for those adults and children over the age of seven who are:

The unbaptized. The primary focus of the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is on those who are not already Christian and have not been catechized.

Baptized but uncatechized. Those who have been baptized either as Roman Catholics or as members of another Christian community but did not receive further catechetical formation or instruction. These typically have also not celebrated confirmation nor Eucharist.

Those seekin full Catholic Communion. These are baptized, practicing Christians from other denominations who seek entry into the Catholic Church.

The Lord is kind and merciful. The St. Vincent de Paul

Society Home Visitation Ministry is now receiving additional requests for home visits.

If you have a homebound friend or family member who would benefit from

companionship, hope, and encouragement to ease the pain of loneliness, the Home Visitation Ministry may be of assistance. Our volunteers share parish news and prayers so that the homebound can continue to feel a part of our parish family. Their lives are enriched by the care and attention they receive and volunteers feel blessed to be able to bring joy into the lives of others.

If you would like to receive the blessings of this ministry, or volunteer to participate, please contact the Parish Office.
