• EFSP: Electronic Filing Service Provider – a web portal for submitting filings to the TexFile system. EFSPs may be operated by any entity that passes a certification process through OCA

• OCA: Office of Court Administration – State agency within the Judicial branch offering resources and information to State courts; Agency that contracted with Tyler for TexFile

• EFM: Electronic Filing Manager – the central system responsible for receiving and distributing filing data

• CMS: Case Management System – an enterprise software application responsible for managing data and business processes inherent to the justice system

• NIC: eGovernment software vendor; provider of TPE, Texas.gov, and prior electronic filing system in Texas
