INTRODUCTION

This booklet is designed to summarize the content of facilities, events and activities with

students, and comparative analysis of student strength, employment that happened in the First

term of the academic year 2012-2013 at JSS Private School. This term has been very eventful,

where students have given their participation to the fullest. From the beginning till the end,

students have been building and applying the skills and knowledge they have acquired and

progressing towards the demands of a competitive world.

Children are encouraged at all times at JSS Private School to be diligent and hard working. We

always try to instill, in the children, a sense of pride and achievement in everything they do. We

put emphasis on the presentation of the children‟s work and monitor their organizational skills.

There is ample opportunity for their efforts and achievements to be recognized and celebrated

through various awards and certificates as well as our many concerts, performances and

assemblies.

JSS Private School believes in the three terms: SEEK, LEARN, EXCEL

SEEK:

The first step in the process of obtaining knowledge is to seek. To seek is to search and in the

process locate and learn.

LEARN: Once the knowledge is located it has to be learnt. Learning is the process where one gains

knowledge, comprehension and mastery through study. Learning is the first step that leads to

mastery and excellence

EXCEL: To excel is to outshine. Sustained learning helps us to become proficient and exceed the

expectations. This leads to excellence and self satisfaction.

As the first term is nearing its completion, the students and staff members are gearing up for

another fun-filled learning and innovative experience in the second term.

The Governing Council of JSS Private School brings about objective to enhance standards and

meet the expectations of school‟s stakeholders and there by contribute to the pursuit of the

School‟s vision envisaged by his Holiness Sri Swamiji‟.

Three new members have been added to the Governing Council, Mr. Richard James, an

educationist and representative of Ministry of Education UAE and Mr. Appachan J. Kuttiyath a

parent representative.
