JobSummary:
The non-profit AT&T Performing Arts Center is seeking an experienced individual to serve as the Center’sMarketingManager.Thispositionwillmanageconcertandshowmarketingactivities,includingadvertisingandcommunications,branding,promotions, anddigitalmedia tomaximize ticket revenueandattendance for theCenter’sprogrammingandenhancetheimageoftheCenterinthecommunityandindustry.TheAdvertisingandPromotionsManagerwillbepartoftheteamresponsibleforgeneratingticketsalesfortheorganizationthroughsubscription and single ticket sales, support of Group Sales, and creative ticket packages. Reporting to theDirectorofMarketing, thispositionwill collaborativelywithexternalpartnerorganizations (Broadway,Dance,Concerts)aswellas internaldepartments includingDigitalMarketing,CreativeServices,TicketingServicesandPublicity.
PositionResponsibilities(includebutarenotlimitedto):
Thefollowingconstitutesapreliminary listoftheprimaryfunctionsofthisposition.Thisdescription isnotall-inclusiveandotherdutiesmaybeassignedasneededbytheDirectorofMarketing.
ConcertandShowMarketing:
• Alongwith theDirectorofMarketingandvariouspartners,developand implementoverallmarketingcampaignsforCentereventsinatimelymannerwithinapredeterminedbudgettomaximizeticketsalesorotherCenterobjectives.
• Buyandmanagepaidmediacampaigns,includingprint,TV,radio,OOHanddigital.• Manage all tactical day-to-day components of individual show campaigns, from announcement to
settlement.• Develop sales goals, pricing and special promotions for subscriptions, single tickets and special
promotional packages, including implementation of dynamic pricing and discounting campaigns forshows/events.
• NegotiatewithDFWmediaforpromotionalandothernon-paidmediasupport.• Manage volunteer efforts for onsite and offsite promotional activation (i.e. promotional booth at
festivalsandotherevents,streetteam,etc.).• Work with Digital Marketing Managers to develop digital and social/viral campaign components to
maximizeexposureandticketsales.
• Work with touring companies and artists' representatives on securing materials, e.g. photography,artwork,detailsonperformancesnecessarytocreateandexecuteadvertisingandpromotionplansonatimelyscheduleandupdateasneeded.
• NetworkwithintheEntertainmentindustrytosolidifymarketknowledgeandbestpracticesinanever-changingmarketinglandscape.
• Spotcopywritingandtrafficking• Compileanddistributeshowsettlements• Invoicereconciliationandbilling
Experience:
• The ideal candidate will be an entertainmentmarketing professional with a minimum of 5 years ofpractical “hands-on” concert and/or performing arts industry marketing experience with measurableand demonstrated success. Must have experience in managing entertainment or related marketingcampaigns. This position is entrepreneurial and creative, but the ideal candidate will also possessfocusedattentiontodetailandorganizationalskills.

Education:
• Bachelor’sdegreeexperience• ProficiencyinMicrosoftOfficeSuite,particularlyWord,Excel,PowerPoint,isrequired.
